    The vast majority of that black area is open desert. The only places that matter are the little black dots (cities) and the only major strongholds ISIS has left by the time Obama left office were Mosul and Raqqa, both of which were under siege.

    let's be clear, It was the illegal war by Bush that created the power vacuum that allowed ISIS to move into Iraq...ISIS formed in Syria due to a civil war there which nothing to do with Obama...and the defeat of ISIS was due military policies put into place by the Obama administration not trump...

    trump is just claiming credit for Obama's ISIS policies just like he's claiming credit for Obama's work in turning around the economy...

    He didn't ... he's lying. His generals dispute his lies. There are still 10,000 ISIS across Syria and Iraq and another 10,000 in Afghanistan. .. and another unknown number in Libya.

    Don't you know by now that Trump is a liar?

    You didn't answer the question, if ISIS didn't thrive under Obama how did it come to control so much territory in 2013?

    Surely you recognize that accusing everyone who questions your statement of being a racist is a dishonest tactic?

    What does have relevance is that they no longer control parts of syria, and at one time, they controlled lots of territory. So, in so far as them controlling syrian lands, they were defeated. But makes no difference to the reality as to whether I call it defeated, or in your choice of words, dispersed. ha ha

    The Iraqi army was no more by 2004.. ISIS is made up of former Sunni military who were in the Iraqi army. They were in prison together at Camp Bucca in Iraq.

    Obama wasn't in office until 2009.. The Iraqi army had collapsed by 2004. What is wrong with you? Are you so hung up on Obama's skin color that you'd lie about the timeline of the war?

    And from 2009 - 2013 ISIS organized and captured territory until their announcement to the world of their existence, in essence thriving. It seems to me you are the one telling lies because of the color of Obama's skin.
