    Can fox news be true?

    Hmm..that's a puzzle. I'll quote your article a little.

    Okay.

Like I said, a real puzzle.

Every religion who get too much close of the government power end to disappear. My country France is a good example of that and was known to be "the eldest daughter of the catholic church". The catholic church was too much a close ally of the king, and not enough of the poor. Now, we're radical secular, and there is a global hostility to religions in the country. Honnestly, I met on a very few occasions white christian people less than 30. Most christian I met were some african christian.
    Ethnic french fled religion.

Its Fox News.. I doubt this is true.. Fox never noticed that there were 50 Christian churches in Baghdad before Bush's invasion. Iran used to have a huge Jewish population.. Some 250,000.. but that number has diminished over the past 20 years. In my experience Iran has always had religious minorities .. including Christians.. but I just don't believe its a sea change.

It's hard to know. Effectively, Fox News isn't extremly neutral, but I can say that for every source of information. Furthermore, as far as I know, apostasy is still illegal in Iran, so it would be harsh to ask people "did you renounced to Islam, you just may be sentenced to death".
I wouldn't be surprized, when religion and government overlapse, you can't revolt against the government without getting revolted against religion. The very few Iranian I met were saying that there were a lot of agnostic/atheist in Iranian cities, in the countryside, it's something else.

I know lots of Iranians.. Most of those I know these days are Christians, but I spent a lot of time in Iran in the 1950s and 1960s.. The problem is their leadership. The leadership is nuts with a huge chip on their shoulder.. Can you imagine where we would be if Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell came to political power?

As per the chart in the link below - the number of Christians in Iran dropped from 0.500% in 1976 to 0.157% in 2011. That is a little more than 1 in 1000. Not exactly a "Christian Spring" :)

"Kord-Ashrafi is just one of many courageous Iranian Muslim women who have defied the country’s mullahs and their female enforcers by observing what is now known as ‘White Wednesdays’ when girls and women take off their hijabs and bare their hair in public."

She broke Islamic law - no doubt about it. Nor is there doubt that this is just another show off. She won't sit that long. Iran likes to make you sweat.

It is difficult to care about something when you do not know about the existence of that something.

What's the source/logic behind this statement? What sort of evidence would support the idea that Islam is "dying"? And what evidence is used to back it up?
