"sexist" is more appropriate here. Additionally, a generalization = "blanket statement". They're the same thing. Examples of sexist generalizations/blanket statements: "All men are dogs", "all women are whiners".

OTOH, telling someone "You are an Omega male" or "You're a sexist" are specific statements, not generalizations.

There's truth to the popular concept that gays and lesbians hate each other.

    https://www.out.com/michael-musto/2016/2/08/why-do-so-many-lgbts-hate-each-other
After all, there are still gay men who don’t exactly rejoice at being in a room with lesbians; as they so eloquently put it, they’d rather not be around “fish,” thank you! Conversely, there are some lesbians who complain about how gay men are frivolous and sex crazed, which cements these lesbians’ drive to stay in an insular world that’s way more female than male.

Some trans people resent drag queens for having male privilege and for donning the garb of the opposite sex as a performance piece, one they put on and off at will. And shockingly, there was a petition last year to remove the T from LGBT, the reasons behind it including everything from the alleged appropriation of Stonewall history to the marked difference between sexual orientation and gender identity, which supposedly should keep gays and transsexuals separate
    .

    https://www.out.com/entertainment/m.../why-don’t-gays-and-lesbians-get-along-better
The LGBT sphere has increasingly become a string of villages that rarely connect, even on the battlefield. Gay men and lesbians, in particular, often seem to be at opposite ends of a disheartening divide, hardly joined in deep-seated LGBT-ness. At queer nightclubs, the idea of a mixed crowd died long ago, and in fact, not only do gays and lesbians have separate hangouts, but those places are for niches within the groups. And if you want to try adding a woman into a gay-bar mix, you’re most likely going to hear yelps of “Fish!” as the guys lose their hard ons and frantically duck behind the DJ booth for cover.

Yes, a handful of women turn up in the crowd, but those tend to be frustrated and/or adventurous straights, not lesbians, thereby keeping the internal LGBT wall up and strong. The truth is that so many partying gay men are focused on being with mirror images that they shun their Sapphic sisters, feeling no more connection with them than they do with anybody hetero.

And it’s not just at the bars. I don’t see enough lesbian/gay loving going on anywhere, unless it’s a guy watching Ellen or a woman checking out Modern Family.

As this article alludes, we can't stop sexism with sexism.

Misandry and Misogyny in the news: https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/rethinking-men/201702/misandry-and-misogyny
....We do have real problems of sexism. Misogyny and misandry persist. The former is more prevalent “there”, the latter, I suggest, perhaps more prevalent “here.” Both are obnoxious, erroneous and inhumane. But it is the “here” that I am principally concerned with—admittedly the lesser of two evils globally, but the one we can deal with best. Activists protest for women’s rights and for men’s rights, asserting men’s rights and men’s wrongs. It is difficult to effect egalitarian changes in gender relations in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, India or Afghanistan, but here we can effect changes.

I think it is useful to emphasize in gender relations, not so much the enmity, hate and war—these become self-fulfilling prophecies—but rather a polyphonic (triple) approach of heroes, villains as well as victims, all three, mediated by intersectional AND intrasectional aspects of identity in gender, colour, faith, disability and socio-economic status. In these lights we may approach social justice and human rights, end the hate and the wars, and be friends.

If she had it her way she'd round up the white males, and put them in cattle cars just like the Nazis did to the Jews and other people they considered undesireable.

    Feminists hate white males.

Did you see how she denied the truth about women's violence when confronted with the evidence???

Feminism is not an, "equality," movement. That is a farce. It is a supremacist hate movement-just like the Nazis.

Well let me tell you one thing. I'm one of those "uppity" white males who "does not know his place" and believes

everyone deserves the same dignity and human rights as anyone else, regardless of their race and gender.

Although Richard Simmons is gay, I've never heard of him being a misogynist....but then I was wrong about Bill Cosby too.

Despite the hatred espoused by misogynists and misandrists, equality and human rights go hand in hand: https://www.equalityhumanrights.com/en/human-rights/what-are-human-rights
Human rights are the basic rights and freedoms that belong to every person in the world, from birth until death. They apply regardless of where you are from, what you believe or how you choose to live your life. They can never be taken away, although they can sometimes be restricted – for example if a person breaks the law, or in the interests of national security.

These basic rights are based on values like dignity, fairness, equality, respect and independence. But human rights are not just abstract concepts – they are defined and protected by law.

It is probably wrong that every time I see the title to this thread, my mind reads it as "
"Isn't Equality Ultimately in Women's breasts' Interest?"

You heard an opinion, one that you did not like, and immediately assumed it was from a white male. Clearly you are prejudiced.

What a silly article....I guess men must really hate women...look at the amount of sexual assaults by men.

I’m a little smarter than that. So, are you a white male? Sometimes it isn’t too hard to generalize and people can draw conclusions by the side of the argument you choose to defend. I bet I was right

I don’t take someone’s opinion as representative of the gay community. The gay community is just like the straight community. And I can show you articles with opinions just as easily

Ahhh, so you did read it. Since that's true, how do you jump from the conclusion of one gay man's article to "I guess men must really hate women"?

Now, due to your repeated man-hating posts am I to conclude you are lesbian or just a bitter person who, like the the OP author, needs someone to blame for their life's failures?

Your posts don't substantiate your claim.

Good post but you know that sooner than later if you argue for women being human, too, there will be the frightened sexist/misogynist who calls you bitter and a man hating lesbian.....but I bet you've seen that crap before from the ignorant...it's hardly new...

The logical fallacies are too numerous and blatant to even warrant discussion.

Exaggerating your situation causes me to assume you have some kind of 'issue' causing you to have a distorted view.

Awesome. Now we just need to figure out how to measure "exaggeration". I figure it would be assumptions and claims that are not substantiated by evidence and data.
