As far as shooting medics and "peaceful protesters", there were several cameramen hungry for footage to be used against Israel. Why no footage of peaceful protesters being shot?

the US military does indeed allow the press to film and photograph them in the field.

the US and other media operated extensively during the Iraq War.

Israel however wants to totally BAN the media from filming the IDF, with or without censorship.
