The Arabs of Palestine came from all the corners of the Muslim world. I know Arabs whose grandfathers came from Egypt, Morocco, Saudi Arabia. There are many testimonies regarding both low numbers of Arabs in Palestine before WWI and massive Arab immigration to Palestine after WWI.

History didn't begin with the census of 1931.
