The thing is with Stuntman that he is unable to quote the line where he claims that he is right. He just puts up a random source. And with posters like that, you almost start to love Israel a bit. lol

    RE: Israel Legalizing Land Thefts
    ※→ et al,

I think we jumped the track here.

    (THOUGHTs 'n' QUESTIONs I)

    • I was given to understand that the settlement plots were all inside Area "C."
    • I was again given to understand that "Area "C" was delineated by the Interim Agreement on the West Bank and Gaza Strip (Oslo II Accord 1995).
    • I was given the very strong impression that Israel had full civil and security control over Area "C."
    • I had the sense that this Oslo II was signed on behalf of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).
    • At that time the PLO was the Arab League appointed sole representative of the Palestinian People (10/28/1974[IMG]Seventh Arab League Summit Conference
    Resolution on Palestine Rabat, Morocco).
    • And that the PLO signed the Accord.
    • And that Article XXXI(5) "Permanent status negotiations will commence as soon as possible, but not later than May 4, 1996, between the Parties. It is understood that these negotiations shall cover remaining issues, including: Jerusalem, refugees, settlements, security arrangements, borders, relations and cooperation with other neighbors, and other issues of common interest."
    • And that Article XXI "Any difference relating to the application of this Agreement shall be referred to the appropriate coordination and cooperation mechanism established under this Agreement. The provisions of Article XV of the DOP {Insert: Declaration of Principles on Interim Self-Government Arrangements signed by Mahmoud Abbas} shall apply to any such difference which is not settled through the appropriate coordination and cooperation mechanism, namely:

    1. Disputes arising out of the application or interpretation of this Agreement or any related agreements pertaining to the interim shall be settled through the Liaison Committee.

    2. Disputes which cannot be settled by negotiations may be settled by a mechanism of conciliation to be agreed between the Parties.

    3. The Parties may agree to submit to arbitration disputes relating to the interim period, which cannot be settled through conciliation. To this end, upon the agreement of both Parties, the Parties will establish an Arbitration Committee."

    • I further understand that the Arab Palestinians (Chairman/President Mahmoud Abbas) has never invoked Article XV of the DOP to lodge a dispute and begin the "Resolution of Dispute" process as agreed upon.

    (THOUGHTs 'n' QUESTIONs II)

ψ How can it be that the exercise of full civil and security control can be considered "Land Theft?"

ψ Was the PLO (Mahmud Abbas in Oslo I and Yasser Arafat in Oslo II) a competent authority to make agreements in 1993 and 1995?

ψ If President Mahmoud Abbas was not competent then, what makes the international agreements today any more valid?

    Most Respectfully,
    R
