Let's be quite clear- the Human Rights Watch organization works for US- the civilians of the world who are the targets of corrupt governments, self-serving police and brutal military forces . ANYBODY banning HRW must be under suspicion from the outset- let alone the demonstrably fascist and apartheid regime currently overshadowing the Middle East as it sucks up American tax-payers hard-earned cash.
As freedom-loving citizens of the world in the early 21st century EVERYBODY would be doing themselves a great service by opposing neoZionism. Simply boycotting everything Israeli might save your future- and remove fascism from the future of your children.
These Israelis are NOT the survivors of the European fascist onslaught of the 1930s. They are a new breed of fascists in their own right. They depend upon our confusion over this issue for their advancement- but their illegal activities and actions such as hampering HRW expose them for what they are.

Yes, but this is obviously what is to be expected in this new Era. Trump has told Israel it may do what it wants. The US will support whatever they want. This is no longer just about Israel. This is about a new era. Part of that new era will be Israel expanding herself and taking what land it wants - literally whatever land it wants unless the Russian's stop her. The post 45 liberal era has ended. I was listening to Timothy Snyder talking about the reasons for the holocaust the other day and he said, from Hitler's point of view, it was a war against the ethics of Jews. We are entering a similar time now where things which since 45 have been considered ethical will now become illegal. I really hope people start getting some understanding of this before it is too late. Now, as far as protesting such things, this too is coming to an end. With Theresa May's acceptance of the IHRA protest is becoming illegal of such things as vocal support for Palestinians, Opposition to Settlements, criticism of wars in the ME, rise of terrorism as a result of foreign policy and more

    http://jfjfp.com/?p=90544

It is to be expected that in this new era the UN and laws to protect the vulnerable will be rescinded and we will return again to the view of the Nazis - 'race' against 'race', might is right. To argue against this will begin against the law and end with violence. We have entered a very dark era.

The Israeli government are allowed to deny whoever they want through their borders.

However, the political bias underlying this denial are very concerning and gives the lie to Israel being the "bastion of democracy" it holds itself out as.

A truely open democracy can handle even propaganda with reasoned argument. Shutting people up is now way to run an open democracy.

Why did it take so long for them to ban Sub-Human Rights Watch? One of the worst promoters and apologists for terrorism, second only the terrorist themselves. Good riddance; they won't be missed, and they can continue to publish their fake news and antisemitic rubbish from anywhere, without letting the vermin also operate as a courier service for terrorist gangs inside your own country. It's not like they ever report anything remotely accurate, and they have never been known for actually doing anything about 'Human Rights'. They're set up to get paid for Israel bashing, from the Saudis and and antisemites in Europe. The U.S. should follow suit; it's long past time to stop treating these racists and Islamo-nazi fronts as 'legitimate'.

    Get your head around this;

The lesson for you here is , firstly, that an Israeli ' vow ' isn't worth spit- as you now seem under some pressure to agree.
Secondly, the world is watching Israel and its developing fascism. That's the only reason that would ever cause neoZionists to maintain their act of democracy and decency.

"The Israeli government is refusing to allow an American investigator from Human Rights Watch into the country, saying Thursday that the group is (*)“systematically anti-Israel” and works as a tool for pro-Palestinian propaganda."

Well then fk 'em. If someone isn't a benefit to the country they are requesting permission to enter, then "No." is the answer they may get.

If someone is actually Harmful to the country they are requesting to permission to enter, then "NO!" is the only sensible response.

Its quite simple and obvious, why are you lost on this?

It is leftist thinking, no borders, no country. Dictating what other countries can do is what they complain about then go ahead and do just that.

Better late than never. Terrorist enabling, Saudi financed, Israel destruction committed pseudo-NGOs have no business in Israel, they should in Saudi Arabia and Iran, dealing with the subjugation of women and persecution of religious and sexual minorities, or in Syria, exposing both ISIS and Assad.

Hmm, look who's side you're on, no surprise there....
“This decision and the spurious rationale should worry anyone concerned about Israel’s commitment to basic democratic values,” said Iain Levine, deputy executive director of program at Human Rights Watch. “It is disappointing that the Israeli government seems unable or unwilling to distinguish between justified criticisms of its actions and hostile political propaganda.”

“We hope the Israeli authorities will reverse this decision and allow both international and domestic human rights groups to work freely,” Levine said.

The group plans to appeal to a Jerusalem district court to overturn the ruling. On Friday, some 17 non-governmental groups issued a statement protesting the decision, including Yesh Din and B’Tselem.

Yesh Din also tweeted that “border control is not thought control.”

I thought you were of the opinion that all Jews are united in support of Israel?

Tell us, moon, how many threads have you started about the unwillingness of the fascist regime you support in Iran to admit human rights NGOs and UN human rights officials into that country?

I haven't seen a single one, but feel free to show me the link to your thread(s). I'd like to see if the views you have expressed in this thread are a matter of principle or hypocrisy.

Your failure to express your opposition to the Islamic State when given the opportunity to do so leads me to believe it is the latter.

As for myself, even though HRW's biases and credibility are worthy of criticism and the Israeli government has the right to control who it admits into its country, I believe it should not mimic the conduct of your Islamofascist champions in Tehran by refusing to admit human rights observers into Israel.

Nooone is disputing that Israel has the right to block whoever they wish to

What everyone is simply dumbstruck by is that an "open democracy" considers human rights and free speech as "harmful" to it.

Nah, Israel has been handling vile anti Israel propaganda since the day it was established. It has no reason though to assist the propaganda arm of their mortal enemies like Hamas, Hezbollah and the Saudi royal family.

The idea that you should help your enemies committed to your demonization and eventual elimination is not a manifestation of democracy, it's a sign of stupidity.

No, blocking free speech is a sign of both insecurity and fascism.

LOL - Surely you jest, Borat!

Do you remember when Freedom House released its 2006 report "Saudi Publications on Hate Ideology Fill American Mosques"? I do.

Do you remember HRW's and Amnesty International's response to the report? I don't.

You'd think that these HR NGOs would take the opportunity to condemn a flagrant violation of Article 20 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights that prohibits any advocacy of national, racial or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence, but for some reason they didn't. I know for a fact that the leadership of Amnesty International was contacted about this situation, nevertheless, we never heard a peep out of Amnesty.

I wonder why this riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma is so? ;)

Human Rights Watch cannot investigate and report. The sole, stated intent is to prevent HRW from making disparaging comments about the government:
"Why should we give working visas to people whose only purpose is to besmirch us"

Looks like you've been identified as un-American, BTW.

The official also noted to Haaretz that the US also expressed disfavor about the refusal to grant the work visas

Surely you jest. Neither HRW nor Amnesty would need to comment about anything occurring in the USA except for things done by the USA government. The USA giovernment is firmly in control of human rights and political laws within its borders.
Both entities are sharply critical of Saudi Arabia for things done in Saudi Arabia and the immediate region

So no one's free speech was blocked? Why am i not surprised that you failed to substantiate your bogus charge?

A fishing expedition by the enemy's propaganda arm with the sole purpose of digging up dirt, distorting, lying and smearing was blocked indeed. Good call Israel, should have been made decades ago.

What are you talking about? I gave you the quote from the head of Israel immigration saying the whole purpose was to prevent disparaging reports about the Israeli government. That is blocking free speech. If you don't agree, then how would you alternatively define "blocking free speech" so that it doesn't include measures to prevent free agents from criticising the government?

Refusing to assist your enemy's propaganda arm committed to your demonization and extermination and blocking free speech are two entirely different things. These pro-terrorist Saudi-financed entities are absolutely free to spew their lies all they want. They just can't count on Israel's cooperation.

I'm dead serious. It's the responsibility of human rights organizations to condemn any violation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights on the part of a state actor, which is why Freedom House issued its report.

HRW and AI, on the other hand, simply declined to exercise their responsibility to comment on the Saudi government's actions even when they were made aware of what constituted a blatant violation of Article 20 of the ICCPR.

This is no small matter. The propagation of this hate propaganda around the world has been a major problem and HRW and AI blew a golden opportunity to address it. This is why those organizations have serious credibility problems.
