I don't believe anyone stands a chance. Israel is a tiny strip of land where people can safely live as a Muslim, Jew, Christian, atheist, or a gay person. It is worth protecting.

 

Nonsense. There are countless jews in Israel who advocate the torture, enslavement and/or murder of non-jews, including children,– and many of these jews are influential religious and political leaders. Here are just a few examples of what I'm talking about:

Of course not but I think you are looking in the wrong place for the root of the problem. Sure neo Zionist Jews will support neo Zionism. However according to a poll I saw only 16% of American Jews wanted what Trump has done re Jerusalem. Now Jews are only an estimated 6 million of the US population. There is another group of people who are interested in this far more than American Jews and they are the Christian Right - one of them was standing right behind Trump when he made his announcement re Jerusalem. Now they make up 30,000,000 Americans or more and Israel is the most important thing in their lives. That is where people's attention should be moving.

The truth is that I have praised decent jews, like the honest and principled journalist Israel Shamir who has written excellent articles about Russia and the Middle East. I have also praised Andrea Dworkin and Philip Weiss who have denounced Israel's horrible treatment of the Palestinians, and I have praised the courageous rabbi Nuchem Rosenberg for revealing the horrific and extremely widespread jewish child sex abuse. (Because of rabbi Rosenberg's anti-abuse activism, he was attacked and nearly blinded by one of his fellow jews.)
