In which case it is a potential problem that we can deal with.

Why don't you try posting your opinions on some foreign forums and see how much people rally to agree with you?

China is a MASSIVE threat to our cyber infrastructure. They have been testing the water for a decade. They will pull the trigger one day and it will be a nightmare to combat. Everything in our combat operations depends on our cyber networks and servers.

If there's a war with China, your country will be heavily involved. Much like WW2. Because there's a little country called "Russia" waiting to expand their western European presence and what better way to do it then if China and the US are in a war. Not to mention, per the agreement Europe begged for, if there is a war of that mass, Europe will be in it. So it's not the US you need to worry about :)

My country is already dead to me. Clearly, I could fight for a country I could be proud of, but for the so-called "France" of today, no.

You did understand that I did NOT MEAN "destroy" in terms of actually eliminating the nation of China or its people.

Anybody else ever notice Red China could only only keep hold of half of Korea, none of Vietnam, got run out of Cambodia, and the Russians went bankrupt in 1973 over Vietnam, lost almost every one of their puppet states in Africa, and their Muslim allies got handed their asses by Israel, all over the same time period? WE were down to some 600,000 troops in uniform after WW II, most of them in Europe, when the Cold War started in Korea, with two grossly depleted divisions in Japan ...

And, people keep trying to tell me the U.S. was the big giant loser??? lol go get some rehab; the booze and meth are killing you people.

The USG has a few specific disputes with the CCP/China that can be easily resolved through diplomatic negotiations and domestic policy changes.
Of course, there is nothing to prevent the corrupt ruling political class of China and the US to choose warfare. History shows that Big Governments love war.

War is "necessary" for the same reason a pandemic was "necessary" - money and power

IMO, going to war for money and power is wrong.
IMO, Orchestrating pandemics for money and power is wrong.

The Great Wall of China has come down something like seven times prior to being rebuilt.

I'm willing to question any and every claim made in a political forum. No matter how obvious people think the answers are.
