Hey, I never claimed to be especially brave.

Though I did serve in the reserves, raced open-wheel cars, used to skydive, have started and ran two companies for over 25 years (one successful and one not) and I served as CEO of a philanthropic organization (btw, IMO, the one that took the most guts - by a mile - was running the two companies. I joined the reserves when I was young and gullible and the others were FUN and/or satisfying.).

I come on here to teach, learn and kill time.

Plus, I don't knock people primarily because of their political beliefs...unlike you. I judge people on how they treat others and what they are like in the clutch...not for something as juvenile as who they voted for.

A poor neighbor has to get off their ass and find work. My neighbor bought his house as a repo and later found out there was no title to be found so he had to hire a lawyer and has been in a legal battle for over a year. Being a fireman wasn't financially getting the job done so he had to find a job making more. When his dog chased a cat around my brand new truck, the dog scratched every side of my truck and ripped the inside of my fender out. I split the $1,000.00 deductible with him since he's in a bind. And if you don't believe a dog can do such a thing...:

Let's see a picture of your fit body? My guess is you are some fat slob who needs a full size Ram to get your obese carcass around town. My guess is the salesperson took one look at you and said 'you look like a full size pickup kinda guy'. You probably took it as he thought you looked 'manly'. But he meant it as 'this fatty won't fit in anything else'.

 

Only time I can recall sharing sympathy with Obama was when he cried over the kids who were killed in Sandy Hook. I didn't cry, but that shooting hit me emotionally because I had kids in school the same age and couldn't bear the thought of losing one. Whether his emotion was real or not, I felt that with him. Outside of that, I didn't like anything he did and had no respect for him, at all. I still never would have lowered my standards by flipping him off.

I don't knock people for their political beliefs either, otherwise I'd knock Fresh Air all the time. But Fresh Air has proven herself to be consistent in what she doesn't like and has no problem calling out racism on either side, etc. I respect that even though we hardly ever agree on things. I like consistency, and most of the people supporting this bird to Trump would have been flipping apeshit had someone flipped off Obama. That's not consistency.
