It's interesting to look back on these posts from March, 2020. At that time we were in the first wave/lockdown of coronavirus. There were shortages of toilet paper, certain foods etc.
Now, we are in the third (I think) wave of coronavirus. I haven't noticed any shortages in my town. I'm used to being in lockdown, wearing a mask, social distancing. Well, almost used to it. I still miss seeing my family members who can't travel. :(

You must wake up each day and think "now who can I piss off today"! It never occurs to you, not once, that the garbage you find and ignorantly post is part of the problem. This pandemic will never be under control until ignorant people stop posting horseshit and reaching the gullible.

And the serial forum spammer mistrusts EVERY word from every mainstream source. That is seriously pathetic. You hold the ignorant people of the world in high esteem with no effort to verify their credibility or the validity of anything they say.

No it doesn't. You are completely incapable of being objective. You are clearly suffering from profound Dunning Kruger syndrome, even though you are completely ignorant of every single thing you ever post on, you dismiss in every case, every source of mainstream data, every response to your crazy batshit and in every case believe and post horseshit without understanding, verifying or seeking any scientific rigour for it.

From that point of colossal brainwashed conspiracy garbage you defend it at all costs and not once have you ever withdrawn a single line of your crazy diatribe.

Seriously? You know somebody and they think something? I know thousands of people in the scientific community, none of them have died, many had mild cases of cold symptoms, some had bad symptoms and most had nothing, like myself.

For you to post incessantly about deaths, danger and impending fatality from vaccines is not only ignorant, it is a major menace to society. You simply have no capacity to understand how wrong and foolish you actually are!

Why? You should start using proper statistics and understand the nature of causation and coincidence. Things happen to the human body - it doesn't always follow that the vaccine is the cause. Conspiracy loons are taking isolated incidents that in themselves are not proven to be caused by the vaccine. They then exaggerate the incidence and apply it across the board. I would appeal to your better judgement. but you just don't possess such a thing!

If healthy people keep getting sick within a few days of getting the vaccine, something is happening. The real numbers are probably much higher than they're telling us.

A lot of people don't get sick right away. It's too early to tell if they're going to get sick later. There's also a theory that large groups of people such as hospital workers and policemen are getting placebos without knowing it which makes it look like the vaccine is safe.

They don't - see quote below again!

    Batshit fact-free conspiracy "reasoning" noted..

If your data source is from batshit crazy conspiracy buffoons, you are going to get the wrong data.

That doesn't stop idiots from speculating.

That is not a theory, that is a moronic unproven claim.

You should start using proper statistics and understand the nature of causation and coincidence. Things happen to the human body - it doesn't always follow that the vaccine is the cause

The “game changer” data the CDC used for the mask mandate is from a single study from India.

The study was rejected in peer review.

    But CDC used it anyway.

How would YOU know? Clinical studies are most certainly being pushed!

Review of the Emerging Evidence Demonstrating the Efficacy of Ivermectin in the Prophylaxis and Treatment of COVID-19 (nih.gov)
Meta-analyses based on 18 randomized controlled treatment trials of ivermectin in COVID-19 have found large, statistically significant reductions in mortality, time to clinical recovery, and time to viral clearance. Furthermore, results from numerous controlled prophylaxis trials report significantly reduced risks of contracting COVID-19 with the regular use of ivermectin. Finally, the many examples of ivermectin distribution campaigns leading to rapid population-wide decreases in morbidity and mortality indicate that an oral agent effective in all phases of COVID-19 has been identified.

However, the side effects of the drug could be a block to using it based on the volume needed for it to be effective.

The ideological crackpots are on the run from the empirical data as more and more Republican politicians belatedly accept the tragic consequences of their irrational opposition:

Scalise isn’t the only Republican who has suddenly changed his tone... Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, whose 2022 reelection campaign merchandise features drink koozies that say “Don’t Fauci My Florida,” noted that nearly everyone hospitalized now for COVID-19 was unvaccinated. “These vaccines are saving lives,” he said at a press conference. Even hosts on Fox News, where COVID-19 was initially denied as a “hoax,” are encouraging viewers to get vaccinated.

The politicians who spouted ideological dogma rather than respect medical science are begrudgingly coming around based upon the irrefutable empirical data.

Scalese, Ivy, DeSantis, Graham, Hutchinson, Pence, etc., etc., etc. are belatedly hurling themselves onto the Biden vaccination bandwagon. Denial of the reality was unsustainable.

The following is sad, and there is no telling how many vulnerable folks suffer and die while infecting their families because they succumb to political claptrap.

A Texas councilman known for downplaying the COVID-19 pandemic and disparaging the efficacy of vaccines died of the virus on Wednesday.

    H. Scott Apley, a Dickinson City Council member in Galveston County, Texas... tested positive for COVID-19, and was sedated and placed on a ventilator. His wife, Melissa Apley, and their infant son also tested positive but have not been hospitalized.
Two days before he was hospitalized, Apley shared a Facebook post suggesting that COVID-19 vaccines don't work. It was just the most recent social media post in what seemed like regular criticism of the pandemic and vaccines.

In April, Apley told a doctor sharing the news that the Pfizer vaccine is "efficacious for at least 6 months" on Twitter that they were "an absolute enemy of a free people."

He had also previously posted to express his desire to participate in a "mask burning" party.

Obesity has always been recognized as a contributory factor by legitimate authorities as well.

There is no shortage of crackpot websites that pander to the fringe. Lee Merritt is another conspiracy nutter, an orthopedic surgeon with no credentials in epidemiology, virology, or public health.

See Experts debunk the COVID-19 claims of Dr. Lee Merritt and the AFLDS

Belatedly, backward states are recognizing the efficacy of vaccination as their infections and deaths soar. Unfortunately, it'll be a while before their recognizing the effectiveness of vaccination is reflected in a statistical improvement.

Vaccine demand jumps in states pummeled by Delta variant
State and local officials in these areas say that fears about the spread of the highly contagious Delta variant, and the risk of death, are finally driving more people to seek out shots.

Demand for Covid-19 vaccines is surging in states hardest hit by the Delta variant...

The largest increases have come in areas where overall vaccination rates are low and hospitalizations and deaths are rising sharply. On July 30, Alabama vaccinated more than 16,000 people — the first time it had cleared that threshold since May. Louisiana, which is experiencing the worst Covid-19 outbreak in the country, has seen the number of doses administered each day quadruple over the last three weeks.

State and local officials in these areas say that fears about the spread of the highly contagious Delta variant, and the risk of death, are finally driving more people to seek out shots — succeeding where months of concerted appeals from pastors, pop stars and politicians have failed.

But whether the recent spike in demand will meaningfully boost vaccination rates, which are still below 50 percent in more than a dozen states, remains to be seen...

Karen Landers, a state health officer in Alabama, doesn’t think hard-hit states are likely to see a reprieve any time soon. The rush for vaccines will help over the long term, but it can take up to six weeks after the initial shot for people to have full protection, she noted. That means it will likely be some time before the number of new infections begins to recede, despite the increased vaccination.

I'm not a paranoid conspiracy kook, nor an ideological dogmatist. I respect expertise in scientific disciplines such as immunology, and am not attracted to fringe characters driven by politics.

If I have a heart problem, I look to corroborative cardiologists, not to a dermatologist driven by an agenda who may spout what I want to hear.

I place no faith in crackpot websites such as Brighteon.

It is a right-wing conspiracy and pseudoscience site that publishes false information. The founder is Mike Adams who profits off this and other crackpot websites and has no scientific credentials. He is a scammer that exploits the paranoid.

https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/brighteon/: We rate Brighteon a right-biased Tin-Foil Hat Conspiracy website that also publishes pseudoscience. This source is associated with Natural News, one of the most discredited sources on the internet

I respect legitimate scientific, self-corrective disciplines whose research is subject to peer review and, when a consensus is achieved, I recognize that is the best methodology for arriving at the truth based upon empirical data that is always subject to refinement through ongoing research, whether I like the findings or not.

(If Dr Anthony Fauci had no medical qualifications like Adams, I would disregard his expertise in immunology as readily.)

Maybe shmaybe. Your whole approach is scatter bomb your spam links, but you lack any of the education to understand any of it. Your automatic position is to assume EVERY piece of mainstream science is lying. The number of people needed to just run this is astronomical, let alone all the participants! It is utterly insane to suggest there is a control mechanism running this!

Show ANY of your crap using the scientific method! You've just been given the scientific method by "Natty Bumpo", it is what it is. Of course it is not perfect, but experts vetting experts is the best you can get. Not clowns posting fake news and copy pasted all over the conspiracy sewer.

MEH!! Go on then, show how YOU use the scientific method!

Justifiable fear is scaring the crackpot ideologues into embracing the medical science and going straight:

What changes the unvaccinated minds? Fear!

The Covid-19 vaccines work to greatly lessen the chance of a person getting a symptomatic case, getting hospitalized or dying. Yet nearly a third of eligible Americans haven't gotten a single dose and more than 40% have not been fully vaccinated.

So what does work to get more people to take the vaccine?

One answer seems clear in the polling and in the real world: fear.
Fear of getting the virus and of losing freedoms looks like it motivates people to get vaccinated.

You can see this well in the latest trends in vaccination and case counts. As of Friday morning, more people have taken the vaccine in the last week than have since June. This has happened as case counts and hospitalizations have been rising nationally.

Fear, not surprisingly, is a powerful emotion.
It's hardly surprising that so many dyed-in-the-pandemic ideological lemmings have done a sudden about-face and are now stampeding to little prick city like their life depended on it.

A total lie. You only follow evidence that supports your predetermined belief. You are the epitome of confirmation bias. There is no logic in your conclusions, you use websites and links that have zero scientific rationale, NONE or them follow ANY scientific method. You don't even come close to following any such method.

Now I ask again, show this method you follow by giving clear and concise examples. You won't, because you never do this.

Hearsay. I don't necessarily doubt that certain people will have bodily reactions to fluids injected into their muscles. The numbers compared to the totals are miniscule. Further, there is no correlation between the vaccine itself and the effect. It can, in rare cases, potentially stimulate a hyper reaction from the immune system.

You are quoting examples that are not verified, very low statistically and then seeking to impose a wholly UNSCIENTIFIC and ridiculous across the board generalisation!

I can quote you a hundred posts you haven't responded to!

Why do you rely on batshit people who make no effort to follow up on "suspicious" sound bytes?

"They will be considered fully vaccinated whether they received the placebo or the active vaccine."

No problem with this, as it is a field trial and this is the way it works. However it is only for the duration of the damn trial!

Placebo recipients are treated as vaccinated for 16 weeks once trials end - Full Fact

What stops you from finding this dead easy thing? Will you even read it!? I bet it won't stop you from spamming that link again somewhere and ignoring the stupidity of it.

Why do you suppose so many politicians who were previously pushing the paranoid lies - DeSantis, Ivy, Scalise, Graham, Hutchinson, etc. - are now all advocating prescribed medical advice and blaming the crackpots for the rapid spread of infection, mostly in red states?
