There are legal rights, and then there are moral rights.

You do not seem to believe that moral rights exist.

I would argue that the woman does not have the moral right to do that, regardless of whether or not we agree she should have the legal right.

I think if you're genuinely trying to help someone, but in so doing you actually end up doing something bad, I don't think there's bad karma attached to that.
We can't always know which women were actually raped. But we do know it's a very small percentage, maybe 1 or 2 percent, or less.

In many cases these women will actually be thankful later. "I'm so glad I didn't get an abortion"

Maybe we can start focusing on ways to help prevent women from suffering sexual assault.
The Muslims have some ideas...
(Don't go out after dark, don't go out without a male family member to protect you, dress modestly, cover up your body, no cocktail parties, etc)

The moral is the rational choice that helps you advance your life. When a woman is unwillingly pregnant, abortion is the moral thing to choose.

 

Buddhism is, just like all other religions, based on irrational mysticism and superstition and has no relation to reality at all.

What happens to a woman when she has an abortion is that she can live her life the way she wants to and pursue her own happiness.

Like has been explained to you before, we just don't know if the woman was actually raped.

And even if she was, she has various early options to be able to deal with that if she catches it early. Even if pro-lifers got their way, the majority of rape victims who got impregnated would still not have to have a baby. (Already discussed in other threads)

 

That's also true if a woman offs her husband to get the life insurance money.
