Okay fine. For the sake of compromise and getting the law passed, I wouldn't be against an exception written into the law when there are signs of sexual assault and the woman is persistently unconscious in a hospital for longer than 10 days.
It would be very rare.

You can no longer use this scenario to argue against such a law, since pro-lifers would be willing to write in concessions to address these extremely rare situations.

 

She doesn't have to "have" the baby, she just has to give birth.

And is that rape victim really being "forced" to gestate that baby, when she had options immediately after the sexual assault to prevent that pregnancy from taking hold? (shot of estrogen, Plan B pill, etc)

 

Which has nothing to do with Abortion since abortion does not just "un-rape" you.

 

what do you think having a baby means... geesh, people can lose their life and limbs having a baby, only a potential mother can decide to take that risk

That's something women don't normally do anyway, and mainly the only reason any woman would do that is if she had been a victim of sexual assault.

Making an exception for abortion in the case of rape shows clearly that they do NOT think "all life is precious" or that abortion is "murder"

It shows clearly that they only think "life is precious" IF the woman had consensual sex.....and so want to punish HER for having sex.

To be fair he has answered it very honestly -- His ideal society is one similar to Saudi Arabia, Iran and Afghanistan; He very openly and explicitly stated that we have a lot to learn from "The Muslim World" when it comes to dealing with women.
