Dems do not need to cheat in California or anywhere else.

It just so happens there are more of us than there are of you.

You are the guys who cheat, voter suppression, voter purges, etc.

 

Land values go up because of supply and demand, in other words, capitalism.

My rent is $700 and I have a 1140 sq ft 2 bedroom, one den, 2 bath manufactured home, paid cash for it.

You csn live cheap in CA if you put your mind to it.

True, but monetary policies flooding the economy with money are resulting in increased home prices, especially in desirable locations like California.

A friend put a 1600 sq. ft. manufactured home she bought seven years ago for $100,000 on a lot she owned in Birch Bay, WA and pays no rent. Of course, Birch Bay, as nice as it is (she lives with 500 ft. of the ocean) ain't like living in Seal Beach, CA...

You have to work at it, however.

My inlaws (RIP) lived in a nice home about 400 ft. elevation (little fog) in Oceanside, CA. It was about as good as it gets.

 

Monetary policy is done by the Federal Reserve, not CA. Prices rise in CA due to supply and demand, noting that the fact that land in CA is desirable, owing to the free market, is not a fault, it's just a simple fact.

If you owned a rare antique gun and it got bid up on Ebay is it your fault that it got bid up?

That it got bid up is not a 'fault', it's a supply and demand fact.

 

Easy money encourages borrowing, and that includes mortgages. That increases housing demand, and thus increases house prices.

 

Langelyman was blaming CA. You can't blame CA for 'easy money' That happens at the federal level.
