    If you wish to have an uncorrupted gaovernment, fight for capitalism. If you wish to save the poor, elect politicians who love the rich. If wish to have a moral world, stop relying on faith and start embracing reason.

    Won’t happen, so be prepared—it’s all just going to keep getting worse.

    What two parts? And how were they kept separate?
    Stability? What is that?
    Couldn't a small community bank be separate from the crap shooters with or without Glass-Steagall?

    That's a long winded way of saying, "I don't like Trump and I won't believe anything that doesn't deliver the left's agenda". There's a difference between dreams and reality and one side of the political spectrum run on emotions.

    Do a little research on your own, if you are truly curious.

    Special interests lobbied heavily for repeal of Glass-Steagall so they could profit from the repeal.

    GS actually benefitted the general public, but it rightfully restrained Wall Street. Billy Clinton always comes down in the special interests section. Money talks.

    Why would it be necessary to keep one company from doing investment banking along with commercial banking?

    As the record suggests post-repeal, allowing the crooks on WS to run them both compromises the commercial banking end of it.

    There is a reason that special interests fought for repeal, and the reason is quite similar to what got Boeing's tit in the ringer--greed, the vice that has hurt mankind since the beginning.

    Left wing are high on openess but low on consciousness and right wingers are high on consciousness and low on openess. The left run on emotions so they tend to run on dreams as opposed to reality. Your post just fitted the bill of, "I just dislike Trump so my agenda means I'm not going to listen if it doesn't back my views".

    If you take Russiagate, the left have believed it and argued on for two years with no evidence. When you ask for evidence, the replies were, "Mueller has all the evidence". When Barr stated Spygate with no evidence and needs investigated, the left are screaming for evidence. Seems to be a bit head scratchy to me; it's ok for one side but not the other!

    So my post was purely describing your post.
