The list of "achievements" (iow, the complete and utter destruction of America as a superpower) is a mile long. This country is quickly turning into a communist hellhole.

Putin has it completely right when he says that America is turning into the Soviet Union. --- Putin and Jinping know that we are weak, and will soon capitalize on it and pounce on Ukraine and Taiwan. Even Biden's response of "you can take a little bit of Ukraine, but not too much" was incredibly weak. Putin is laughing at Biden, as is the rest of the world. I'd be laughing too if it wasn't with regard to my country...

6.4 million jobs added — an average of 537,000 a month. 3.9% unemployment rate (down from 6.4%). Some people will call that bad, but honest people wouldn't do that.

    Which is bigger?
    2019 = 21.43T
    2021 = 22.79T

I believe the above would have happened no matter who was in WH, but you feel obligated to call good news bad because of your partisan nature.

No. Tyrannical commies close their borders and run their own little world within those borders, (Cuba, Pol Pots Cambodia, North Korea), while globalist elite are...... global capitalists, and take advantage of global networking like international banking corporations / cartels that the Fed is a part of. Globalism was sold to us as "free market capitalism" by Reagan and others after him, and it was not demonized until recently. Now its supposedly the great evil, and equated with communism, and some people believe it (they believe anything). Brainwashing at its best.

    Realism is not pessimism.

You are a Dem, and I'm not miserable. I just happen to have empathy, that which you seem to lack judging by your attitude about skyrocketing gas prices.

Not what I said. I just stated the truth. You should try it sometime.

To act as if concepts are laughable means that you want to be irrational.

You should try listening to me sometime; you might learn something.

    Correct.

Their policies can greatly affect the economy. Trump's policies led to a booming economy. Biden's policies are destroying the economy.

I'm not miserable; I'm just telling the truth. It is Democrats who are miserable, STILL bitching about Trump a year after he's been out of office.

    See above.

It doesn't. --- For Democrats, it does though... The only reason why many of them voted for Biden was to vote against Trump because they hated Trump so much... if THAT's not "life revolving around a politician", then idk what is...

... what you neglect to mention is how abysmally low the workforce participation rate is... Less people are working, due to COVID tyranny.

Globalists are not capitalists... Globalists are WEF-aligned "one-world government" types.

    No, - you are.

See how childish such declarations are. VERY childish.

I know my party affiliation, and you are 100% clueless about it.

    LOL

Nope. You bought him up (not me), so you could publicly hump his leg (which you did).

    Have a nice day.

    Nope.

You can call yourself whatever you want, but you espouse very liberal politics.

You are a liberal... you are a Democrat.

Typing out LOL in every response is quite childish.

    You too.

Nah, - you are. See, - there you go again. Grow up!

Your mind revolves around political figures, and you think that defines you, but on actual issues you are totally lost and if you were put to a test, you'd fall well to the left of me.

Take the political compass test and post the result.

    Projection.

And I've taken that test a number of times before. It's interesting for sure, but isn't an 'end all be all' with regard to what one is.

Its pretty accurate, but don't post the result if you are concerned about people knowing where you are on issues.

    Here is mine.

Correct, tyrannical commies close their border, the sensible close their border to illegals, and the foolish open their borders.

You still haven't addressed the shrink of the economy. That isn't good news, is it? Adjusting for inflation 2021 is less. Sorry your higher math skills weren't able to discern that.

I would simply point out that for the areas not entirely dominated by socialist democrats, the recovery has been robust. Now look at the blue states. Not as rosy a picture, but you already know that. And only by including the republican areas, have you made any case for improvement at all...

Socialst give a B just for showing up, although his absence from office for almost 25% of the time might lower that a smidge...

After the HUGE COVID drop and then the recovery starting 3rd quarter of 2020 we would expect a huge number, Biden's problem is it's not huge enough we are still far short of the pre-COVID numbers. Unemployment a year ago in December of 2020 was 3.6% in my county and 4.1% in my state. That was great considereing 6 months earlier economist were predicting double digit for several years to come. Not so good ever since as the LFPR has barely moved and IMO a direct result of Biden's insistance he shove out more money to keep people out of the labor force.

Extrapolate through 2019 to 2021 without the COVID drop about where it would have been.

I believe with someone besides Biden who unnecessarily poured free money into the 2021 economy giving people the ability to not return to work and not force market wages up by fiat money, keeping us energy independent things could be A LOT better. Of course it would have required a Rep Congress to assist.

I have said it 4 times now that the same kind of recovery would have happened no matter was in WH. Your mind revolves around political figures, and you fear seeing Biden get any credit for the historic recovery. Such is the partisan mind.

Congratulations. In US it was 6.7% at that time.

And I'll say 5 times no it would not have been the same kind of recovery although the President would not be the sole influencer of that recovery. And don't take it upon yourself to be able to read my mind, I will state my position and argue MY positions not the ones you attempt to make up for me.

And yes some states, blue, states were not willing to open their businesses back up but there were LOTS of states under 6.7% down from the 14.7% the previous April so the recovery was WELL underway before Biden took office. Nothing partisan about the facts. And in fact it was Biden who pushed more money out that delayed the recovery from continuing at the same pace. He was using the same policies he and Obama tried in their failed recovery after the 2008 recession. Had it been Trump or Bush43 that second round would not have happened or been greatly curtailed and neither would have attempted to shut down our energy producers and started threatening all business with HUGE tax increases and HUGE regulatory increase. Bush43 showed how to get the economy going after a recession but Biden would never admit his failure and adopt those policies back then or now.
