I think you misconstrue, I'm not doing it with my own feet the person elected would be doing that. The long form of that metaphor is "You've got to vote for stomp the left nut, you don't want stomp the right nut to win do you!!!!? Voting for cake and ice cream is specious!! No one is going to vote for cake and ice cream, you're insane and you're going to make stomp the right nut win!!"

Here it is in similar format but as a bit from the simpsons so it should be easier for you to grasp dear. kodos and podos.png

    Hay, easy bud,
If any changes are made to the GCA, I assure you every damn ATF Form 4473 will be modified to incorporate relevant changes.

Jesus Christ people. No wonder they get so much gun control passed, you don't even know what they're doing when its explained to you and links are given. They're not talking about the 4473, its not about purchase ffs. Or rather, they may ALSO be talking about altering background checks but "red flag laws" aren't background checks they're "take the guns first due process second" to quote cheetoface himself.

I didn't vote for her either. (and dont' say not voting for Trump was the same as voting for Hillary. Hillary voters said not voting for Hillary was the same as voting for Trump. I voted for neither). That, and I never read that she said that. Please show evidence that she did so at every campaign stop per your hyperbole.

I know exactly what they are and told you I was not in favor of them for the very reason you state.
You never responded to my post and I think I know why.

In comparison to the recent Presidents this country has had, he actually does support gun rights.

That's not saying a lot, but it's more than we ever had in the past two decades before Trump.

This is the first time in this thread you and I have talked. Quote the post you claim I'm avoiding

No, he doesn't. He's accomplished more gun control than Obama did already, and he's looking to add more and so is the rest of the republican party leadership.

There was nothing to reply to, the post you quoted wasn't even originally to you. Don't take such things so personally, particularly don't come in to other threads and complain about it.

Nor was the post you responded to in THIS thread to you. Nor was your response relevant to the post that I made

I don't actually give a crap if you respond to me. This is an open forum. I respond to threads I feel relevant, same as you do.
Don't take this too personal but your attitude of superiority and the legal authority of the forum is rather pompous. Many of us know guns, law and politics probably as well or better.

Hmmmmmm, advocates for the banning of bump stops, and advocates for confiscation before due process.

Yeah, he's a bastion of support for the 2A. LOL!

So did the ultra conservative John Howard right up until the minute it became politically expedient for him not to. Trump will not win 2020 unless he can recruit voters beyond his base. There are too many millennials registering to vote. The millennials are very pro gun control. They are “generation lockdown”

Bet on the fact that gun control will be a major political football and bear in mind that popularity for gun control reform is surging

Quite honestly, I dont think a red flag is a terrible idea. We've had it in Fl for some tim . I wasnt even aware we had it in place.

Devil is in the details of course.

Likewise. All purchases I have made were subject to a NICS background check. Liberals act like NICS does not exist. Of course, the goal is incrementally making all guns illegal for the non-elite average person.

If Republicans want to commit political suicide start pushing gun control.

That is the least of it

    https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0209896

According to the article there was just under 85,000 non fatal firearm injuries in the USA. If you do the math that is an awful lot of infrastructure that could be built if the government were not spending money on this

Three days. BTW, we are in the computer age. NICS is a computerized records check and thousands of people are in fact denied every year. However, I believe the indictments for people being denied for attempting an illegal gun purchase are about zero. Funny how the libs always demand more laws without adequate enforcement of the laws in place.

Trump supporters, why is Ivanka Trump in a position of power? Why was her idiot husband put in charge of the Middle East Peace Process? Why do they have top secret clearances? Why are you still tolerating this nepotism???

I don't like nepotism and as I have said many times I don't like Trump -- but the Dims have swung so far to the left there is no other option.

    Bravo!!! :applause::applause::applause:

I have waded through this maze of logical fallacies that surround the “THAT isn’t an assault weapon! THIS is an assault weapon, except it isn’t and then I will move the goal posts and hope you fall into the hole left behind.

    Banning them is simple

Anything capable of firing x amount of bullets in y amount of time with a magazine capacity of z is banned. You can still have everything else.

Anyone who refers to the opposition as “the dims” is unrepentantly partisan.
