    lol..

Trump is strong, courageous and you cannot stand it, plus he has been an extremely effective president. The weaklings are presidents like Obama, Bush, Clinton. You can find videos of them promising to curtail illegal immigration, even talking about walls. They never did anything, Trump IS doing something. You can find videos of all of them attacking China for intellectual property theft and taking advantage of US on trade, they did nothing, Trump IS doing something. Obama was weak with Iran, giving them billions and playing nice whilst they promised to wipe Israel off the face of the Earth and continued sponsoring terrorism..Trump is teaching them a lesson. Obama was so weak he couldn't even call terrorists Islamic extremists, i mean, good grief. Kim didn't respect Obama, Trump got tough on him and Kim turned into a little sheep... Look up videos of former presidents talking about moving embassy to Jerusalem, none did anything, scared of backlash... Trump DID IT.

Trump took on his own party, the democrats and the dishonest media, no former president had the balls to do this... in their dreams.

One thing is clear, the opposing party is angrier when a sitting president is actually effective. They rejoice when the opposing party's president fails as this helps them get elected and attain power. The economy is booming, Trump has gotten tough on the border, he is addressing China, strengthening military, having Countries pay their fair share after decades of America picking up the tab, he is fighting status quo, bureaucracy, political correctness and a dishonest media.... the opposing party has no shot at beating him in 2020, despite what polls show. Not a single candidate on the left is half the man Trump is... I mean, they have no policies, all they do is use identity politics to scare Americans, divide Americans. Some of them are outright crazy, who would even think of applying for anything as a native American when they are 99% white? lol Then you have angry socialists who could never make $$ themselves so want to destroy those who through talent, hard work have made lots of $$. Reparations? LOL... that's the icing on the cake, it's was so sad to watch all of these demo candidates be held hostage by extremist radical, thug Al Sharpton.. they looked like weaklings, supporting reparations when it's the dumbest idea ever conceived.

Trump 2020, no-one is stopping it... this is why impeachment is being pushed, only way to win.

Then tell me smart ass, why even start a federal special counsel investigation into any president if they cannot be charged? Mueller sure as hell could have charged Trump with either collusion or obstruction, if the evidence justified him doing so. Prosecuting, and charging are two separate actions.

If the evidence was not there to charge anyone colluded with Russians or obstruction, why put hundreds of pages of non crimes in the report at all, unless he was trying to make a political statement? A simple statement that Mueller's team did not find sufficient evidence to charge anyone with anything, and the investigation is closed, is all he should have done. Instead he puts in hundreds of pages of non crimes so the dems can use them as a political weapon to conflate and exaggerate, to pontificate and bloviate and badger the president.

From what i have read, everyone involved knew that by January 2018, Mueller's Russian collusion investigation was completed. Trump and his people thought that meant Mueller was going to close the investigation. When he didn't, it became clear that this was personal and/or political, and Mueller and his team wanted their pound of flesh. So for another year and half he continued to ruin people's lives, bankrupt them, etc...

I also think Mueller was hoping he could drag this out thru the 2018 elections and maybe flip both the House and Senate. Then turn over to the Democrat controlled Congress, his 480 page roadmap to impeachment report.

Just like the Valarie Plame investigation, Fitzgerald knew early on that Armitage was the leaker, and yet refused to shut down the investigation, because it's not about justice, it's all about politics, and hurting as many people as they can.

Barr his little to no credibility. His lips are locked so tightly on Trumps bung hole. Everyone knows hes just a creature for Trump, and will be used as a political weapon of revenge and retaliation for daring to expose the presidents crimes.

Projection? I'm just reiterating exactly what the Trump-hating news media has been doing these past three years. So don't play stupid with me.

It was Mueller and his team of Democratic Party donors who could not find sufficient evidence to charge anyone with obstruction or collusion, and yet it's Barr who you blame? Good grief.

With no thanks to the Obama DOJ. The Russians ran roughshod all over the country during the 2016 election, and all the Obama DOJ was interested in doing, was exonerating Hilary of her actual crimes, and trying to spy on anyone associated with Trump and/or his campaign to see if they might be able to uncover a crime. We know the final outcome after three years, nothing, nada, zilch.

I work for one of the prime targets of these foreign hacker groups, and we see the same thing.

So this is your only retort? Essentially "neener-neener-boo-boo?"

That's fine, I'm used to deflections like that coming from the left, and the TDS afflicted, when the truth and facts are thrust into their faces.

As I already stated, less than half of the American people gave Obama a positive approval rating days before the 2012 election and he was re-elected.

It's not as complicated as it seems to you. Mueller was hired to investigate Russian interference in our election. I remind you of this because the right seems to forget it. It also authorized him to investigate other crimes he found along the way. Trump's obstruction of justice was the crime involving Trump. So in fact, Mueller didn't start it, Trump did.
Indictment is how people are charged in a special council investigation. Here let me help.

Obama's approval rating started out at a high of about 60% on inauguration day and within a year plummeted down to about 45% and stayed in the mid to high 40's for the rest of his fricking Presidency.

What falsehoods did I assert? The news media, MSNBC, CNN et al, were in fact either inferring or flat out calling the president a traitor, accusing him of colluding with Russians. They spent over two years citing unnamed source, after unnamed source, claiming they had solid evidence of traitorous Russian collusion by Trump. What projecting was I doing?

What ? It was you who referred to me as "asinine." What? I'm not allowed to respond in kind to your ad hominem directed at me?

And there was nothing stopping Mueller from charging the president, if there was enough evidence, and that DOJ laws and guidelines were met in order to do so. Taking it to the next step and prosecuting him, is another matter. Was Clinton charged with obstruction and lying to a federal judge? Yes. Was he criminally prosecuted for it, no.

Think about it, if we could not charge the president with any crime, then why would we ever bother to investigate him? Mueller certainly could have charged Trump, but he didn't. Prosecuting him would be a different matter.

Reading comprehension not your strong suit?

The term asinine refers to the CONTENT of your posts but if the shoe fits...

You made fallacious allegations about the media and disparaging slurs about the Dems that you are unable to factually substantiate in post #90. You were called out for PROJECTING your BLOTUS's conspiracy paranoia onto others.

Then in #156 you violated PF rules with an ad hom which was again called out.

That was followed in #160 with you DOUBLING DOWN on your PF rule VIOLATIONS with GROUP INSULTS.

So playing the VICTIM CARD when it is you that has been posting falsehoods and rule violations rings hollow.

I guess you didn't read it very carefully then, as the investigation itself was predicated on the attempted coup.

You might notice in the report how no one was charged for working with the Russian government.

Allow me to assist your recollection:

    See https://www.pollingreport.com/obama_job1.htm

Obama's numbers at this juncture of his first term (Gallup: 4/22-25/11) were 44% Approval / 47% Disapproval - not much better than Trump's .

That is why I acknowledge Trump's potential to suddenly mimic Obama's trajectory and soar.

Now, wouldn't that be a hoot?

And.... Obama had the vast majority of the news media praising him, and going out of their way to cheer lead for him.

A study by the Shorenstein Center revealed that the news coverage for Trump has been exceedingly negative. Fox News Channel was mostly negative also, but they were not 90% negative against Trump, which i guess makes them pro-Trump surrogates. :deadhorse:

In 1973, in the midst of the Watergate scandal engulfing President Richard Nixon, the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel adopted in an internal memo the position that a sitting president cannot be indicted. Nixon resigned in 1974, with the House of Representatives moving toward impeaching him.

    ----------------------------------

The department reaffirmed the policy in a 2000 memo, saying court decisions in the intervening years had not changed its conclusion that a sitting president is “constitutionally immune” from indictment and criminal prosecution. It concluded that criminal charges against a president would “violate the constitutional separation of powers” delineating the authority of the executive, legislative and judicial branches of the U.S. government.

There are two remedies for a criminal President.
Impeachment or prosecution when he leaves office.
Either of these could apply to Trump.

I think you are right on target. Though I do think Mueller thought he could do more good for the coup by releasing his report now and letting the House follow his breadcrumbs to impeachment. His investigation would have become very stale had it dragged on for another year. It now has a fresh start, so to speak.

I agree the Russian investigation was over and known by January 2018. (Comey told Trump that he was not under investigation in January 2017!) But this was not so much an investigation as it was opposition research dressed up in investigative clothing paid for by all Americans.
