So about that Ivermectin, the cow de-wormer. It might not help with the COVID situation, but if people use it, it might get rid of any parasites living in the general population. :)

It does help with the Covid situation. I know 2 who benefitted from it.

For those of us paying attention, what is really curious is how the medical industrial complex, and that includes especially the media, works so hard to portray the drug as useless. They even generate fake news stories on Maddow and the rest such as the fake story from the Oklahoma hospital.

    Scamdemic all the way.

I really did lol on that, though I disagree as to it's efficacy.

It's not just a 'cow dewormer', though portraying it as such certainly fits into the usual attempts at mocking something one doesn't agree with.

There are basically 3 types of microbes that cause infection: parasites, bacteria, and viruses. We don't cure one by taking a treatment for another. Ivermectin is for parasites and COVID is a virus.

Meh, it may or may not be effective. Who knows. It is an idiotic thing to do IMHO, but I do know that for years people were buying some antibiotics without a prescription via pet supply stores. California cracked down on it and some of the companies started adding ingredients to make them too noxious for people to consume. Cipro was one of them and cephalexan was another as both are used in the vet world and also to treat fish tanks.

Ivermectin has been studied for antiviral and anticancer properties well before COVID was born in a Wuhan lab.

And, as an example of taking one "cure" as treatment for another, Cialis was originally meant and successful at reducing swelling of the prostate. Now you know it as a.... part hardener, lol. Cross functionality of drugs has ALWAYS been considered.

And those fake news stories are still up and running on her Twitter and at others. Rolling Stone issue a slight correction instead of a retraction and apology.

And "correction" is being generous. They called it an "update" and did not bother to even state how that effected the article. That same "update" came with a second paragraph of leftist BS.

Maybe Maddow hopes that if she keeps silent people will tune into tonight expecting a mea culpa and get her ratings number up so they aren't so embarrassing.

Madcow just got a $30 million annual contract from her peeps. She makes Rush Limbaugh look like a chump, since she does about 10 minutes of work per day.

Any sentiment that Rachel Madcow knows WTF she's talking about is just that - a lie.

Once just once I would like one of the pro-ivermectin people discuss what frequency and dosage is required

Why? Are you still under the impression that there isn't a dosage for humans? One drug company donated like 3 million doses to Africa to help them.

Can you recite off the top of your head the prescribed treatment regimen for the failed therapeutic, Remdesivir?

Case in point - please show me the in vivo research that quantifies dosage, timing and frequency

If there is please link me to that recommendation because the in vitro studies suggest you would need a massively higher dose for an anti viral effect than you need for the anti parasitic effect

Why not look it up yourself? Is your Google broken? Who cares if it's a larger dosage? It's still not taking livestock medicine.

If Ivermectin is a "cow de-wormer", then doctors and hospitals all around the world are administering rat poison to their patients.

Which is the case with you, @wgabrie?

Wrong. Turns out Ivermectin is a strong anti-viral discovered about a decade ago.

If people take ivermectin formulated for animals, they're going to get sick. If they don't have access to the ivermectin formulated for people, they still shouldn't take the ivermectin formulated for animals.

I think this doctor tells how to get access to ivermectin that's formulated for humans somewhere in this video. I don't remember where. Watch all five parts.

There's nobody that's pro ivermectin. It's just a drug. Wouldn't seem pro ivermectin it would just seem competent.

You know your politics are ridiculous when they interfere with competence.
