    She obviously made a deal so that she would be protected from "hanging herself". There are very rich and powerful people who could have her killed in her bed while she sleeps. She is safer while in custody if she cooperates and by now they know that they need to guarantee her safety if they want the info she has.

    After what happened with Epstein, I lost any and all trust in our system. I'm supposed to just accept that such a high profile as Epstein committed suicide while everything just conveniently fell into place to allow him to do so? It just seems so blatantly obvious what happened and those in power just don't care that we know.

    Epstein was initially investigated in Florida and pleaded guilty to state charges in 2008 that allowed him to avoid a lengthy prison sentence. He was free a little after a year in prison.

    At the time, a federal prosecutor in Florida signed off on an agreement, initially filed in secret, that barred the federal government from charging “any potential co-conspirators of Epstein.” Alexander Acosta, President Donald Trump's former labor secretary, resigned last year after coming under fire for overseeing that deal when he was U.S. attorney in Miami.

    For those who might not know, that "Alexander" Acosta would be "Alex" Acosta, Donald Trump's former Secretary of Labor. Just one of many "best people" that Trump assured the country in 2016 that he would hire. Of course, we never would have doubted Trump about that four years ago. Oh wait . . .

    Trump supporters are being deliberately naive. I would bet the ranch both parties are just as guilty as the other when it comes to Epstein.

    until recently in my republican state, the age of consent was 14, thankfully it is now 16 with a 5 year buffer

    We should also put in jail the former Florida prosecutor who let Epstein get away with it in 2008.

    Epstein felt untouchable and claimed dozens of victims after that.

    Acosta was easy to find, Trump appointed him Secretary of Labor in 2017. . .

    Someone made a backdoor deal there, I agree it deserves an investigation at least.

    The FBI has found and arrested the woman Maxwell that snagged young girls for Epstein. She knows EVERYTHING about that nasty business!!! Hopefully she will tell all to get a lesser sentence.

    Now all we have to do is keep the Clinton death squad away from her before she can tell all. If for some reason she should happen to "commit suicide" like Epstein did, before she could tell all, the you know what would hit the fan!!!

    When she does tell all, it should go a long way to clean out the Washington swamp!!!!! This could really get interesting!!! There are rumors that the Clinton's among others are in a panic mode!!!!!!!!!!!!
