Jewish leader says jews should burn down Christian churches

A jewish leader, Benzi Gopstein, says that Christians are "blood-sucking vampires" who should be expelled from Israel, and he calls for the burning down of their churches:

I have the following questions for my fellow PF members:

1. What do you think about this jewish leader's statements about Christians? Are they really blood-sucking vampires who should be expelled from Israel? And should jews burn down their churches?

2. What do you think about the claim that the Israeli government is complicit and is aiding and abetting anti-Christian jews like Gopstein?

He's an idiot and should be ignored.......

 

He's one of countless jews who have these opinions.

 

He's an extremist. They exist all over and the USA has it's share...even within The White House right now.

 

He's an isolated, irrelevent Jewish extremist.

Just as there are lots of hateful, bigoted, extremist Christians and Muslims.

He's the exception, not the rule, as most Jews don't believe as he does.

 

Actually, hatred of Christians is very common in Israel. Take a look at the following article from the Israeli newspaper Haaretz:

And yet Christians in Israel are treated as full citizens will full civil and political rights.

Good thing the Jews of Israel don't treat Christians like the Christians of Europe treated Jews, over most of the last 2,000 years. Hell most Christian European nations at one point exiled all Jews.

Certainly we live in a time where information easy to access and general education of public of better than ever. In human terms it is quite striking as compared to just a few centuries ago. There must have been a give and take, or a two way street concerning the how and whys of expulsions of whole populations. So, perhaps to really answer this, the victim must see clearly the why's and what fores, as well as the other victims.

 

The Vast Majority of Orthodox Jews and Conservodox Jews (me included) are friendly to Christianity. Christians keep The Seven Laws of Noah given to non-Jews.

I assume you're talking about PF's rule about calling out/attacking other members. I get it, but since we're allowed to criticize each other's posts – as long as we focus on the issues – it would be great if you could explain why you feel that this thread is "antisemitic".

What's wrong with starting a thread about how influential jewish politicians and the Israeli authorities attack and discriminate Christians? Do you really want this to stay hidden?
