The left's love of Kennedy was always a shining display of their hypocrisy. His only major accomplishment was the Kennedy tax cuts, and his reasoning for passing them is clearly based on the same conservative "trickle down" philosphy that the Marxist left despises today.

The other thing the left loves about Kennedy was PT109, which was an event caused by Kennedy's own negligence.

What else is there? The Cuban Missile Crisis? Something that he escalated by appearing weak in front of Kruschev? A meeting that was made in spite of his own Administration's warnings. Obama almost made this same mistake when he wanted to have a meeting with Ahmidinejad, but wisely reconsidered after his Administration told him not to.

Kennedy is loved for a lot of the same reasons Obama is loved, and it rarely has anything to do with policy. The left views their Presidents like pop culture icons, and the younger and better looking they are, the better. It doesn't matter if their ideas or good or bad. They just need a face to match up with their counterculture movement.

Wow. Errr... no dude. If one woman said that she had a consensual sexual relationship with Herman Cain 50 years ago it wouldn't change my opinion one bit. One 50 year old unconfirmed allegation of this type by someone attempting to cash in on a book deal would not change my opinion of anyone running for office.

Now a string of allegations of unwanted sexual advances and an alleged sexual assault by various women some of his own party that are not attempting to cash in at all? That's a different story. And frankly if the guy isn't try to lecture me about family values and God I am far less inclined to have it sway my views about them.
