    <Rule 2/3> I don't think anyone believes CNN is an honest news network, all they do is hate on Trump. Is it any wonder why we see so few members of this board cite CNN as a news source unless it's to either poke fun at them or when they're having a rare moment of honesty.

    So if anyone here still gives CNN any credit for being an honest and truth telling network, then by their own standards then can only conclude CNN is xenophobic <Trolling>

    Because he is A) A Journalist that was B) Reporting on something before it was officially named and C) Not the President discussing a virus long after it was officially named and D) he did not "get away with it" as evidenced by the fact that you are personally talking about it or E)

    Yes, after a novel virus gets an official designation, it does smack of xenophobia to continue implicitly blaming the city or region where it originated.

    There is a reason why epidemiologists do not name viruses or diseases after the region where it was founded.

    I'm constantly amazed, amazed I say, how the left can invent reasons why it's ok for them but not for others. Words are not racist unless politically correct people and Trump haters want them to be.

    There is nothing wrong with calling this Chinese flu the Chinese flu. When you and your pals say it's xenophobic, what you actually mean is it's racist (if you declare the term not to be racist it would be a first for anyone on the left to say that anything is not racist) Why would it be racist? What race is China?

    Do you still use the term Montezuma's revenge? Got bad news for you if you do.

    Not that it is something new, but even the other journalists and even some of fake news emanation artists winced and frowned at his new level of bloviating.
