As the Republicans appear to be saying, "Impeaching Trump would be fatal to the Democrats. We have to stop them."

No, but I do think that a far right violent reaction will be the death of them.

 

There will be no reaction unless he is removed and that will never happen. I think even in most Dem circles they know impeachments usually mean the president gains support. I've seen a lot of posts from Dems who are disgusted with this sham. Many seem to feel that this impeachment only solidifies Trump's chances of winning next year.

 

I am saying that if the Republicans really do think that the Democrats are seriously harming themselves by going down the impeachment path...they would be encouraging them to do so...not dooing their best to stop them.

The "Democrats are harming themselves by doing this" is as phony as a three dollar bill.

You said Republicans are trying to stop them, I doubt it, they know they can't. All they can do is make them look bad and show the public this is a show trial. Some most likely want it to happen so the other side can present their case in the senate where the GOP control things.

 

The dems are now trying to rush this before Christmas because they are losing support from house dems up for re election they see the writing on the wall that this impeachment is not popular;

In the end the house is going to do what they decided to do in 2016, the senate will reject them, Trump will remain president and continue to torture the left. If he gets re elected all I can say is OMG for the left

 

They ought to stop looking at the wall...and start looking at the polls. MORE people favor impeachment right now than are against it.

All during the two years of the special counsel investigation, Republicans complained, bitched and moaned that it was taking way too long and the investigation was much too broad. Now Republicans are complaining that the impeachment investigation has been way too fast and evidence is way too thin.

Nonsense. Every dem I know cannot stand the man and want him out at all costs. Do you think there is a vast number of voters living in the hinterlands that will be so mad they will finally vote? Actually it is a non-issue. If these leftist politicians follow through on this impeachment farce then their 'witnesses' and many of them that are KNOWN to have colluded with those witnesses to 'get' Trump will be destroyed in Senate cross examinations. If the Left's leadership, however, backs off after dragging things to this point and go with merely a public condemnation of Trump then they will reveal themselves to be the partisan hacks that everyone already know them to be. The Right and Trump win no matter what.

 

You mean those millions alluded to in the latest CNN polling that was revealed this time around to be over-stacked with Dem Party participants by OVER twenty percent? Is that another one of those polls like the ones that SHRIEKED that Hillary was going to mop the floor with Trump in 2016. You do know that stacked polls are garbage, yes?
