Generally known as the most racist (ex)law enforcement officer former Maricopa County (AZ) Sheriff Joe Arpaio is resurrecting the Racist Birther Movement later today with the debunked claims that President Obama's birth certificate is a forgery.

I agree. The people that scream "racist" all the time seem to be the racists. And how does a questionable document mean racism?

My wife is one of those people that is deep into genealogy. She does online work converting old census and birth records to digital records. She says she has seen many birth certificates from Hawaii for the same period as Obama's and, before his strangely disappeared from online, she looked at it and thought there was something wrong with it that could amount to a fake. Does anyone have a copy of it? She would like to examine it again.

I get embarrassed for conservatism when I read hysterical threads like this. If Joe Arpaio has a smoking gun, which I doubt, he can just release it, he doesn't need a press conference.

The other thing is this: no one really knows first hand where he was born. I think, for example, that I was born in Louisiana, but only because that's what my parents tell me and that's what's on my birth certificate. Maybe I was really born in China and it's all a big conspiracy. I wouldn't know because I was a baby when I was born and don't have any recollection of any Chinese nurses in the delivery room. Of course, I can't really prove that I was not born in China, I can only offer hearsay statements of people (now dead) who claimed at one time that I was born in Louisiana. That's not very solid evidence.

Similarly, I haven't heard anything to suggest that Obama "knows" that he was really born anyplace other than Hawaii, so I think all this fraud mongering is really unfair to him, even if he really was born in Kenya and his parents and the creator of some fake birth certificate, and the custodian of Hawaii's vital statistical records, are colluding in some giant complicated conspiracy, for some unfathomable reason, to hide the fact that he was ineligible to be President.

This all seems more far fetched than the still-circulating theories that the Queen of England is a drug dealer and that NASA staged the moon landings.

 

If you had been born in China, your parents could not have brought you into the US thru Customs and Immigration without documentation from the US Consulate in China.

 

Obama has a law firm on retainer that is taxed with making sure that no-one sees his vault birth records.

What does that have to do with where he was born. Have you seen the birth announcements that appeared in several Hawaii newspapers at the time of his birth. You figure the CIA already knew they were gonna make this loser president and hacked the papers?

I saw some good evidence to suggest that the birth certificate was altered. I don't know why he would lie. I am pretty certain that he was born in Hawaii unless the CIA is waaay better than I give them credit for.Have you looked at the logistics of getting from Hawaii to Kenya in 1957.
