Someday, it is almost inevitable that there will be a huge "tell-all" exposé concerning strange inconsistencies in "facts" about Obama's birthplace and its circumstances. I have until yet to see one credible explanation to support the Leftist contention that the Kenyan birth certificate below is not the real one....

FINALLY - ok liberals - this is an example of a right issue that drives independents nuts.

This is how we look at, lets say, "Russia responsible for hacks!".

The great majority of independents wouldn't have traded that truth, to not have Russia do that, for anything.

By even suggesting it be a hot topic, you are alienating yourselves from us.

Phew.. I must say, conservatives have been killing it this cycle by not picking fights with independents and the like. It was a mass effort to keep the anti-Christ out. But yeah, this is a topic they need to let die, whether truth or not, it costs points with independents vs gaining them.

I feel like everything the left brought up this cycle, once the Bernie fact finders bailed on the sheep, was all things that trigger independents like the birther story.

 

The birther movement was always foolish but it takes an even grater fool to call it racist.

 

Classical liberalism is more in line with nationalist capitalism, not libertarian.

The founders were free traders internally, not externally. They believed in standing armies for defense. Commonwealth laws.

You calling the founders libertarians is really no different than the left trying to label them as progressives.

The reason why the modern version for America must be nationalist capitalism vs classic liberalism, is because with classical liberalism the top's wealth was tied directly to the state, so they were the best to put in charge of the state. With the top's wealth now globalized, they have more incentives to hurt the state for the sake of their wealth. Labor is now the entity with more ties to national success, and they alone are the only ones to be trusted to protect the economic health of the nation.
