    Well, if you have a foolproof way (and you'll need just that) to ensure he doesn't get the nomination in a process his party controls, I'm all ears...

    Although he warrants being disqualified for public office, I just don't think anybody has the spine to go there..

    Outside of that, I'm for the least electable general candidate coming out of that process.. worked pretty well in the recent midterms, although I don't see the D's running pro-Trump ads in the spring of 2024 either...

    No, Joe hasn't. Joe has opened our borders and allowed millions of illegals and tons of drugs to pour in. That alone is grounds to impeach him. maybe even indict him.

    Is that from the viewpoint that making a case for the termination of articles of the Constitution is hinged? Or that he made that statement after being unintentionally (we think) egged on by Musk?

    He's truly a Pavlovian dream... Stimulus-Response... That's just reality....

    Obviously, more candidates HELPS Trump...
    That is as "Newsworthy" as "1+1=2"..
    ...(And, certainly would not qualify as any sort of "Revelation")...
    Simple Math:
    1) Trump is going to get between 40% and 45% of the GOP Primary Vote...
    2) Trump's Voters are with him (no matter what)...
    3) Any number of GOP Candidates Greater than 2 ONLY Serves to DILUTE the Anti-Trump Vote...
    4) Which allows Trump to Win by Pluralities with 40% to 45%...
    CONCLUSION:
    The ONLY Way for the GOP to prevent a Trump Re-Nomination is to decide on ONE "Anfi-Trump" Candidate (DeSantis) and Allow ALL Anti-Trump Republicans only ONE Alternative...
    ...So as not to split the Anti-Trump Vote...
    Certainly, this "pruning of the field" to Trump v DeSantis MUST Happen before Super Tuesday (and, preferably sooner)...

    It wasn't when the race included quality men like Bush Elder, Dole and McCain (and even Romney to a tiny extent), but when you are facing people like Trump and potentially DeSantis (or worse) one day, I'm not sure what's higher...

    It's AbsaByGodLutely 100% accurate. President Joe goes to work everyday and quietly DOES HIS JOB never giving any notice, and thereby credence, to the constant slander and lies, thrown at him; like you've just done.

    TRaitor tRump is the ONLY president to NOT gracefully and peacefully transfer power to his successor. He's the ONLY president who's supporters attacked OUR Capitol and wiped their **** on it's walls. No, president but tRaitor tRump has formed a seditious cartel of criminals to over turn a free and fair election.

    OK. The reason I missed your point, was because you'd originally said that you would prefer a DeSantis victory, over the option of a Trump loss. I am saying that the ramifications of Trump being beaten by DeSantis, would be more than offset, if DeSantis were to ascend to the Presidency.

    Hence, while Trump's losing the election, once more, wouldn't solve the extremism problem, it would keep a panderer to extremist voices, out of our top elected office (which a DeSantis win, wouldn't really accomplish, IMO).
