The AR-16 hasn't been around since the 60's, and were only prototypes, but I want one. It must be very different from an AR-15 if it uses a clip. A long clip. Kerry really knows his stuff. “You heard from Joe about the things he did with the NRA,” the former Massachusetts senator said. “That took courage. Delaware is a tough state. I’m a hunter. I’m a gun owner. I’ve been one all my life. There’s not a veteran here who would take an AR-16 with a long clip to go out and shoot a deer or shoot anything. There is no business — Joe led the fight to get those things off the street.” https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2020/feb/3/john-kerry-boasts-of-lifelong-gun-ownership-says-h/
Very few Democrats/liberals know Thing One about firearms, other than what the usual anti-gun organizations tell them. This is proven by their fact they routinely bleat and repeat the usual talking points; once the conversation runs past those points, they either withdraw or devolve to insults.
I don't really mind when people use the term clip instead of magazine. Hell WWII vets have often use the word clip for the 1911 and the M1 Carbine for example. I'm not correcting them But some of the stuff people spout off about guns can be annoying. The automatic weapon thing pops up all the time on the news instead of semi automatic. And the poor AR15 and components are so often mislabeled it sometimes appears it's on purpose.
