John Oliver is trolling Pence with a book about a gay bunny

Ever since I fell in love with The Larry Sanders show back in the 90's, I have had zero interest in talk shows. As soon as I realized that the interviews are all made up - the questions pre-discussed, they mean nothing to me. They are phony interviews.
Even the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, I almost always turned it off as soon as his opening news segment was done.

 

You can rest easy until Jan 20, 2025. No need to make yourself miserable for that long.

 

The book isn't supposed to be funny, he said it's a legitimate children's book about acceptance and respect. Something a lot of children here could learn from.

 

He makes fun of himself all the time for this.

 

Sure treated equally, ie held to the same standards, but not called out fairly equally. If one side deserves to be called out more that's on them, I've never bought into the equal amount of negative press. Let's say on one side you have 10 scandals but on the other only two. You would have to give each of the 2 five times the coverage to keep it "equal" and that would be rather unfair to the 2.

 

How do you figure?

 

Of course they do, they know male hominids will hump other male hominids too. But they employ the same approach that they do to Mike not being tempted by women at social gatherings or out in public to curb their urges.

 

Oliver is a classy guy. I bet his parents are proud.

 

All proceeds from the book go to a foundation for fighting depression and AIDS research but yeah **** John Oliver!!!

 

I had a pair of grandparents who were trumpistas and they used to call each other brother and sister. There was a movie about a crazy couple that keeps children under the stairs and rips out their tongues. There was a little bit of similarity there. Enough that I was always looking for a body.

 

Oh please give us a break. If you are in that level of politics and you put out a children's book you better expect something like this from both sides. It is satire and it is part of free speech so don't be a triggered snowflake, both sides do this sort of thing, and it is entertaining. If you do not like this sort of attention don't get into politics or showbiz. Really complaining that politicians get made fun of. I am pretty sure if we check your hard drive we would find some pictures of Obama as a witch doctor or some humorous memes. I don't see you chastising the right for their mockery of Obama and Hillary.

Oh, and the left just does it better.
