There is good reason to believe that Trump has health problems.

He is certainly very narcissistic and won't believe facts and instead substitutes delusions and evident falsehoods asTrump facts.

USA is in for a bumpy ride for four years.

However, Trump's physical health must also be in question. He looks very tired and red-faced since the inauguration and may have evolving physical health problems.

What a quack and he says he's a top psychotherapist?? How can a professional "diagnose" someone without having met him and talked to him? This is so dumb....he could have said that about Obama too....

I see how President Trump became so successful in real estate. Just look at the amount of free rental space he has acquired inside the noggins of many liberal's! Hahaha!

The left gets more pathetic by the day. I'm sure the only reason he violated the ethics code is because he's a good little liberal first and a doctor second. The doctor doesn't seem to understand Trump philosophy on business or negotiations. If he did I wouldn't be wiping my ass with his work.

"Hopkins' Paul Rothman meets with Donald Trump"
    http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/ma...n-meets-with-donald-trump-20161228-story.html

Back in December Trump met with the president of John Hopkins and the presidents of the Mayo Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic.
After actually spending time in person with Trump, all 3 didn't seem to have a problem.

My professional diagnosis - The psychotherapist in your article is suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome. My medical opinion is above reproach because I have a white coat and clipboard. In fact, I'm so good I can even diagnose TDS from a mere forum post.

Do the naysayers really not see Narcissism politics aside? It was evident from day one and I'm genuinely afraid of how it will cloud his judgements. I want him to make the country great believe me.

Well I guess technically he could have said that about Obama, but then he would have been labeled a racist and probably lost his job.

I did read somewhere years ago that when societies feel threatened they will tend to elevate people to leadership with less adaptive orientations...that has long been my theory as to why Nixon was elected.

In our present case, a portion of our population was veering so out of control and fostering threats to our entire culture that the rest of us felt a need to set strong boundaries...which only someone like Trump would be able to take on: someone relatively impervious to the social disapproval of the Left and traditional Right fronting for a short-sighted or even traitorous Elite.

I respect Trump for whatever he really is, and hope his acting out of the anger many of us have been feeling for some time does not cause harm to him in any way. IMO his actions so far have been quite correct, as seen by early results. He seems quite able to moderate his plans according to the input he receives.

That said, the input of someone that violates his own profession's standards to provide public input is of course itself highly questionable

He's not even a medical doctor. Just some dopey pseudoscientist, and I'm not sure the article even indicated if he had a PhD or not

So what this leftist allied psychologist is saying is that Donald Trump is actually Barack Obama with every one of Barack Obama's over the top narcissistic faults and paranoia? Cool!

Precisely. That's what struck me, in that the leftist allied psychologist could have been talking about the same men. Only since Obama was HIS Political Messiah, those same traits were GOOD when Obama had them and was r-u-i-n-i-n-g this nation for eight straight years.

Interesting link - I have been looking for it since the OP mentionned it. Thanks for posting it.

As a simple observer, you don't agree with it?

In post #6 I provide another link. IMO this guys a fraud. Speaks rather vaguely, just draws attention to traits common amongst most over achievers. Gibberish, dime store psychoanalyst peddling books.

That was the post I was refering to, thanks. And yeah, the analysis is kind of superficial, sure, but after all it was done without actually meeting the person. I guess being too precise on some aspects would have made his observations east to attack by the reverse argumentation.

For itself, I think the analysis you posted is better than the one in the OP which is, furthermore, presented in a very subjective way. But at the same time, who can deny it (otherwise than by attacking the messenger, that is)?

I think this Dr has been trying to come to terms with elements of his own psyche. He's merely "projecting" his self diagnosis I think. His observations are to a degree insightful, but does he propose treatment of, or the cultivation of, these traits? Inane IMO.
