The Hollywood Reporter is running with yet another story of mr Reid's legal problems stemming from her publication of racist content on, this time, Twitter. The MSNBC hate monger? Joy retweeted a now debunked assertion of racism against a woman photographed and published on Twitter as having made a vile comment by a twitter member who then, Joy retweeted, that turned out to be manufactured, (read lie). So, ms Reid seems to have pickled herself here. In her moment of pique, she seems to have effectively exposed her assets to a distressingly unshakable legal complaint. We will be watching this one closely as it will define public use and publication principles for how discourse on the platforms can be actioned in future defamation cases.
