Of course. If I run for president and promise to abide by a 40 year tradition of candidates releasing such private information, I would show my respect to the American people by keeping my word to them. I would be honor-bound to do so, even if it were to expose extremely damaging evidence that I would much rather keep hidden. Lying would not be an option.

Robert, you do understand that not all appeals are equal, don't you? In other words, you understand that some arguments being advanced are so poor that an appeal is only a temporary reprieve and only meant to delay the inevitable, right?

monitoring the President’s compliance with the Foreign Emoluments Clauses. These are facially


valid legislative purposes, and it is not for the court to question whether the Committee’s actions


are truly motivated by political considerations. Accordingly, the court will enter judgment in favor

of the Oversight Committee."
