Hi everyone. I’m a small town guy from utah. Definitely a Republican and once a libertarian. I abandoned the libertarians because when I researched the economic advantages of a large military presence I could no longer support their views of foreign affairs. I’m sure many on here won’t appreciate my ultra conservative views but I doubt any of us are here to win a popularity contest. I don’t envy any president or governor. Both jobs are very demanding I am sure. anyway, I’m a huge gun lover. I don’t just like them I love them! I try to collect as many as possible. I prefer good ol levers and wheels but some of the newer semi autos are fun as well. I have three kids that I have had shooting since they were 4 years old. Started all of them on a .22 caliber single shot. I also have an amazing wife. Most perfect person anyone could ever meet. I hope to have some great conversations here.
Welcome. This is a pretty good place to learn. A lot of diversity and you can even learn a lot from the nuts if you read between the lines. I’m not a collector but use firearms regularly for practical purposes in my work. Mostly modern firearms for me—easier to suppress and maintain in the rain, snow, mud, chemicals and salt. I like blues steel and fine grained wood but they just don’t suit my use case. Anyway, have fun. See you around.

As a "conservative" here you must carefully choose every word you post, EVERY WORD! Were you "progressive"...not so much, you'll learn soon enough as the rest of us did. I'm also pro-2nd Amendment down to my bone marrow, welcome!
