President Obama Says Colorado Shooting Reminds Us Our Time Here Is Limited and it Is Precious President Obama addressed the tragic Aurora, Colo. shooting during a speech at what was originally supposed to be a campaign rally in Fort Meyers, Fla. The president left out any and all traces of his reelection campaign in an attempt to comfort a grieving nation, saying the incident reminds us our time here is limited and it is precious. Obama said his administration would do everyone in his power to ensure the safety of all our people and pledged his support for the people of Colorado.
