But, once again you haven't actually done so. You seem to have memorized certain phrases while possessing no real knowledge of their meaning.

Gerrymandering has implications but can also be good.
    Think about Boston.
For 50 years there has been no chance for A republican to win anything there. The question is what color will you representative be?
    They have 8 neighborhoods.
    Roxbury is mostly black.
    Jamaica Plain is Hispanic.
    The north end is Italian.
    Southie is Irish.
Hyde Park (until recently) was white.
    West Roxbury is white.
    Roslindale is white.
    Dorchester is mixed.
If each district is divided properly by demographics every group is properly represented.
If you have to divide by population Hyde Park might have to intrude into Roxbury, maybe so much that the white guy might lose to a black.
To prevent this they make Hyde Park intrude into Roslindale.
Then Roslindale takes a slice of Jamaica Plain. Roxbury intrudes on Jamaica Plain. Jamaica Plain has to intrude on Dorchester and the Hispanic loses the next election.
So that ethnic group is edged out and not considered in policy making.

Not long ago I studied the southern Congressional delegation and found that the lone Democrat from most states was black.
So they not only placed most Democrats together but most black Democrats together.
This suit might be that swing districts might end up with a white Republican going against a white Democrat.
