WHat about them? Prison is not a fun place, it's horrible....I wonder if this guy thought about going into a state or federally run prison and look at the conditions....that's where the vast vast majority of prirsoners are kept

    Private vs Public Prisons

Of the 1.6 million inmates in the USA, 8% are housed in privately-operated prisons. The other 92% do their time in public prisons.

Private prisons...really? 92% are in public prisons, so tell us how prisoners are a money maker.

In California every security guard must be exposed to pepper spray to get a license to carry it. If they want a Taser license they have to get shocked with it too.

You really can't discuss this intelligently until you read the expose.

92% of all inmates are housed in public prisons. What stockholders are there in public prisons?

There are stockholders in private prisons.. Its impossible to discuss this unless you read it. BTW, Steven Owens is a man NOT a woman.

FDR negated that Sec. 1 clause of the 13th Amendment with an Executive Order at the outbreak of WW2 to thwart any potential propaganda from the Axis powers. Prior to that donks would railroad blacks into convictions & rent them out to private land owners.

She also was a dirty prosecutor. I know she thinks she is entitled to the unquestioning black vote, but nobody likes a dirty prosecutor.

When a judge removed the entire Orange County District Attorney's Office from a death penalty trial in 2015—after it was revealed in a bombshell memo that the sheriff's department had been running an unconstitutional jailhouse informant program—Harris' office appealed the removal. The jailhouse snitch scandal has tainted more than a dozen criminal cases, including several murder trials.

Harris' record as San Francisco D.A. has similar instances. In 2010, a California superior court judge excoriated Harris' office for failing to notify defense lawyers of known misconduct by a drug lab technician that later led the San Francisco police to shut down an entire section of the lab.

The judge wrote that an internal office memo showed that prosecutors "at the highest levels of the district attorney's office knew that Madden was not a dependable witness at trial and that there were serious concerns regarding the crime lab."

The judge wrote that Harris' office had some "duty to implement some type of procedure to secure and produce information relevant to Madden's criminal history." However, the judge's requests that prosecutors explain why nothing happened were met with "a level of indifference."

She wanted convictions and as she showed with Willie Brown, she will do whatever it takes to get what she wants.

There aren't in 92% of the prisons in the country, don't you get that?

I absolutely agree Prof. P! As long as it's not for profit & just offsetting taxpayer expenses. Not so sure about mandatory as that is a somewhat slippery slope... I certainly like the idea of gardening, lol; (despite the clip below) nothing like going out to the garden and eating right off the vine. :)

Her job is to see that justice is done.

But arresting and imprisoning people for victimless crimes is a perversion of justice.

pitiful attempt to insult considering i never claimed it

and plenty of woman do it just look at asia argento first complaining about sexual harrasment after she benefited from it for her career, only after turns out she ****ed a minor herself and stil tryd to put the blame on the minor(while admiting she did it), if she was male she would have been crucified by the media for raping a minor

I didn't accuse you.. I said losers often claim that women sleep their way to the top. Smart women don't.. Its a road to certain failure.

i know plenty of smart woman who deserve where they got and deserve to go even further.

but i also met a few who are as stuppid as a rock but ****ed there way up, unfortunatly nobody cares about that but the other way arround would be met with outrage in many cases.

sometimes it deserves to be sayd but i want to be clear i dont say every woman would do such a thing same as not every man accused did anything either
