All ANY law enforcement agency does is investigate things where there is probable cause to suspect a crime occurred. They do not, and are not supposed to, seek out things to investigate without probable cause. And even then they do not have the manpower to investigate every single possible crime in a timely manner. Even Obama did nothing in Ferguson until AFTER the possibility of a crime was brought to his attention. IE: He had probable cause. Trump is doing the same exact thing that Obama did. Having the DOJ conduct an investigation into the matter.

And no, Trump cannot just send in the military. If he could I'd support it. The local governments sure as hell aren't doing anything to stop the riots. At least not until tons of damage is done and then days later. The only time he can actually send in the military is if those rioters start being considered as a rebellion.

I am a voting poll worker. I had started out as a mail inballot counter. You have to be a registstered voter to receive a ballot. The ballots have to be postemarked by a certain date and time. The ballots are opened by pairs of two poll worker, one a Democrat the other a Republican. If there is a shortage of eitherrejisted Republicans or Democrats an Independent ( non aligned registered voter ) is paired up.

We open each envelope and we have a listing of the registered voters who were sent ballots. When we open each envelope as a team we check off the voter data base that a ballot was received. Each team of Dem/Rep or Dem/Rep /Indie has to agree that the ballot envelope ones not look as if it was pampered with and we check to make sure that only one candidate by per office was marked.

So you see I know more about mail in ballots than Trump, that Blonde Chick or most of the poster here. If you want to accuse me of being sexist by calling her a Blonde Chick be my guest Iforget he name.
