Meanwhile the planet has kept warming. And this study gives strong indication that the greening will reverse and turn into desert.

The Earth is warming. Wildfires are getting Worse. Hurricanes are getting worse. Ocean Acidification is getting worse. Icebergs are melting. Drought and Floods are becoming more commonplace.

And yet the Sun has been dimming for 60 years now and the global mean temperature (GMT) still goes up. Everybody who has attempted to predict the GMT using only solar theory has failed. Some have failed so badly (Easterbrook) that they can't even get the direction correct. Also, if you think our warming is natural then please let us know which natural mechanism explains it because it ain't the Sun.

 

OH yes there is!!!! Carbon taxes...the redistribution of income from the middle and the bottom to the top!!! That will do it!! See, the key to this secret is simple. If the middle and the lower class cannot afford to stay cool and warm in the winter, only the top dogs can afford it, problem solved. If no one but the rich eventually can afford fossil fuels...you get the idea?

I always have said, that if this was a real problem, all of the gov'ts on earth would have began land management years ago, adding billions and billions of co2 loving flora to the planet, given this has a correlation to co2 rising. Guess what happens when you deforest a planet? And turn farmlands in the US into tract housing? lol I live where I grew up. When I was growing up, as soon as you got outside the town limits here, it was farmland and small families farms, everywhere!! Today? You will not find one...single...farm.. nor the farmland. So much so we have to import our food where we used to have a surplus of american grown food.

So, if and when we see a major shift to land management, adding flora, no one in their right mind would take this doomsday scenerio seriously. You know what PT Barnum said? Right? So, these alarmists are simple fools, and they continue to be born.

 

Yes, it is. And dadgummit the Earth just keeps warming up. How is that happening? But, if you're waiting for the global mean temperature (GMT) to drop to before we were ever driving cars you're going to be waiting for a long time or the GMT is going to have to crash hard...and I mean REALLY hard. In the meantime, we keep getting further and further away from those pre-industrial temperatures.

Yes it was. The poster stated all climate studies were based off of feelings. That is an extreme claim which is easily debunked, and requires citation.

 

First, I'm not a liberal. Second, we don't control the climate. We influence it. It be like getting locked into an airtight chamber. Your biological processes will influence the composition of the air in the chamber, but you can't exactly control that. That's what's happening on a grand scale here on Earth.

 

Of what would you like him to get out of the way? You have a solution?
