Does he have a chance? Will his past activities with the Nation of Islam be brought up? Will some people try to accuse him of wanting to implement Sharia?
People are going to accuse him of wanting Sharia no matter what, because that's just one of the stock lines republicans pull out against anyone they don't like. I'm critical of many of Ellison's positions, considering I'm much more hardline and far-left than him, but he's one of the better dems, so at least things are shifting in a better direction.
Oh so the Demos can't wait to get him out of running the DNC. Guess we should expect Perez to be pushed out too, huh?
Yep, hopefully the republicans will bring up his ties with the nation of Islam and Louis Farrakhan. https://www.haaretz.com/us-news/ell...with-iran-s-president-and-farrakhan-1.5809929
Minnesota already has elected a woman Muslim to their state legislature who has been quite controversial. We can call Minnesota the new England. They will elect more and more and implement sharia law while California flips their legislature to Hispanic, surrounding us on all sides.
