US claims it has the right to kill anyone it sees as a threat to its national security, and Chavez surely ranks high on its list of threats. So it's wise to be careful. In any event, the warnings coincide with other unsettling developments. At a recent meeting of the Organization of American States (OAS), Colombian ministers charged Chavez with harboring guerrillas on Venezuelan territory. (The allegations could be used to justify a preemptive attack) Chavez reacted swiftly and broke off diplomatic relations with Colombia, but the row did not end there. Obama's nominee as US ambassador to Venezuela, Larry Palmer, threw a little gas on the fire by backing-up Colombia's claims. Now the two countries are at loggerheads which seems to be what the Obama administration had in mind from the very beginning. US policy towards Venezuela has changed at all under Obama. If anything, it's gotten worse.

Last week, the Venezuelan president had to cancel a trip to Cuba after he was told that a coup was underway and his life was in danger.

Seems fair. However, there are relic politicians in congress that fit the same bill as Hugo. they just stay in power to keep hold of power for power sake.
South America has been a safehaven for US corporate investors for the past 23 years. It has been the most profitable emerging market to invest in for investors and have paid out more money than any other country in the world. People think China or the Arab World is a great place to invest, but it has been a well kept secret that South American investment dominate the world in investment profit. Wall Street mogules have been making huge profits off South American bonds, and stocks. And Hugo is a big part in keeping with that tradition. I highly doubt the wall street mogules and jewish owned broadcast media mogules would let the federal government interfear with their massive bond profits.

If anything, the CIA along with the NSA would be responsible for any covert assasination, and it would be against any opposition of Mr, Cahaves. Hugo is getting old and so is Fidel. Eventually their countries will be run by a family buisness of dictators that are in the pockets of the wealthy US Corporate mogules who also own the US Federal government. That is what you call capitalism of the highest caliber. That is too big to fail.

Chavez dug his own grave by supporting Gaddafi. Any credibility he might have had is now lost for sure. As such, the hatred of the world is all that he's got left going for him. I sure hope that the US government does not kill Chavez, but if it did, the world would not miss anything other than the lack of a global player to comply with international rules.

Perhaps it's not a coincidence that Chavez got cancer. Cancer can be induced (e.g., in lab mice). And it has likely been used by the US to murder before (e.g., Bob Marley after the first assassination attempt on him failed).

Why would our government want to kill a guy who has, despite his rhetoric, been a very useful business partner with America concerning oil trade?

LOL, Hugo wouldn't be (*)(*)(*)(*) if he didn't play that "I'm an American Threat" card. Honestly I don't think anyone cares if Hugo stays or goes, nothing gonna change as long as money is being made. If the people of that Nation want to kill him go ahead it makes no difference to the USA. Same thing for all of them, Castro be nothing if he didn't use the I'm such a threat, like yea they gonna come over here and attack us? LOL Stupid people just like to have a colorful clown to clown around with which is basically lib-turds that make a big deal about this.

I ask again, why hasn't Emperor Obama life the Cuban Ban?

While Obama's continuance of the Cuban Embargo has been disappointing, that's more the result of pressure from ultraconservative Cuban immigrants than it is from "lib-turds."

The embargo itself lost all relevance about 30 years ago.

Hugo Chavez did for poor Venezuelan people what George W. Bush did for rich American people.

Did he? Are all the people better off, or only the people that empowered him? It seems to me he did what every other demagogue does, and that is to put his own people in power, and make them the new rich. I know one friend of his is now the richest man in S. America. But look, that's how business is in South America. It all has to do with who you know.

As for George Bush, he's a Republican and they are for less taxes so that small business' like farmers, electricians, plumbers etc., can grow and give people jobs. Sixty to eighty percent of the American economy has to do with small business and the self employed. They are the ones that made the U.S. great. If they are taxed to death, and have to close shop, (as they are doing), then where are the jobs going to come from? If it's the government, then Greece would be a perfect example of how well that works. :spin:

It is suspected that they created "cancer" in the Shah, Marcos, Assad, and others. Why not Chavez?

They assassinated the President of Vietnam, Chile, Iran, Mexico, Sitting Bull, Mckinley, Garfield, Kennedy and others too.

Oooh ..... wasn't it Gaddaffi who gave the power back to the tribes immediately after the coup?
Wasn't it Gaddaffi that allowed his people education to 78% of his nation?

Who wasn't allowed under the American puppet Idris.... Sorry King Idris! Well, thats the name given to him by American and UK governments when they installed him to that position!
OR hospital treatment, which even Americans aren't allowed in your democratic society..... bollocks..... your national corporations eugenics policies!

But enough of your AIPAC degenerates.

Wasn't it Gaddaffi who wouldn't allow your American and UK oil cartels cart blanche and restricted access to oil and exploration so the future generations would to benefit from oil revenues?

In fact, which would be strange to the likes of your good self, Gaddaffi cared and protected his nation physically and mentally with honour and duty, again something very alien to your society.

International rules, remove your head from your rectum, you mean as with Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan etc American owned mercenaries paid for with CIA drug profits (drugs which are destroying the American nation) who just happen to be called Al Quada, the same "group" who were supposed to have flown aircraft into the towers..... a ttissue a ttissue and they all fall down! (and some weren't even hit!

International rule, For god sake, stupidity isn't a strength to boast about!

Global player? Would you be talking about, the secret American prisons? Or the American torture chambers? Or the secret assassination squads? Or the refusal again to hand over the Bagram prison with at least 3000 illegally held prisoners!

Illegally held prisoners from all over the world and again a prison with torture chambers with dead bodies piled into mass graves! International rules????

Global player? Would these have something to do with the drone strikes against children, wedding parties, funerals, or any natural gathering of people doing natural people things? You make me vomit that you can actually support these vile murdering degenerates!

Chevaz did say he believes he had cancer given to him by the AIPAC run CIA!

US government, bollocks, your owned lock stock and barrel by degenerates and genocidal maniacs!

They decide who is allowed to stand for election and by chance any who have any integrity duty and honour are marginaised by your "free and democratic press and media" you make me laugh in your child like view of the American political policies.

There can hardly be a seriously intelligent youth on the planet who doesn't have a Che Guevara poster. They build character. Chavez will be right up there with him.
