Either of the two are heroes but you seem to think that this young possibly mentally disturbed kid is your hero. Do you think he is a hero?

Really? Maybe you should tell them that:

    https://globalnews.ca/news/7048218/george-floyd-life-death-family/

And if he wasn’t a hero why did THOUSANDS of people get to attend his funerals while the rest of us had to bury our loved ones without them?

The OP is a good example of "over analyzing" every crime against society. He willingly made bad decisions in a free society. He will lose his freedom as the consequence. I have no compassion for him. Let the law run it's course.

No sir. He will walk free for self defense. As he should.

Are y’all under the impression that Americans are just going to sit back and do nothing while terrorists mob our streets, loot our businesses, burn our homes, places of work and worship to the ground and assault and murder people indiscriminately?

And he had to travel across state lines to "defend himself".

He was looking for trouble, just like the others, and they found it. No sympathy for him from me.

What you say may be in part true, but he shot his first victim for throwing a plastic bag at him before he was chased by the "mob". That pretty much does away with self defense.

Yep, everything that happened after the first shot was people trying to stop an active shooter.
Can’t kill someone then claim self defense when people try to stop you from doing it again.

Then I assume you have no sympathy for the ones who got shot right? If so, that’s fine with me.

    Not according the the NYT.

This is the first shooting where the individual fired FIRST before a man lunges at him and he was shot by Kyle.

    First shooting
While Mr. Rittenhouse is being pursued by the group, an unknown gunman fires into the air, though it’s unclear why. The weapon’s muzzle flash appears in footage filmed at the scene.

Mr. Rittenhouse turns toward the sound of gunfire as another pursuer lunges toward him from the same direction. Mr. Rittenhouse then fires four times, and appears to shoot the man in the head.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2020/08/27/us/kyle-rittenhouse-kenosha-shooting-video.html

It then goes on to describe the next group of shootings after he falls to the ground and is attacked.

    Second shooting
Mr. Rittenhouse seems to make a phone call and then flees the scene. Several people chase him, some shouting, “That’s the shooter!”

As Mr. Rittenhouse is running, he trips and falls to the ground. He fires four shots as three people rush toward him. One person appears to be hit in the chest and falls to the ground. Another, who is carrying a handgun, is hit in the arm and runs away.

Mr. Rittenhouse’s gunfire is mixed in with the sound of at least 16 other gunshots that ring out during this time.

The fact the Black community uses Floyd as a symbol is wrong just as wrong as the people who say that Kyle R is like the Minutemen at Concord and Lexington. How many times must we say that two wrongs do not make a right?

I would agree with that. But if both wrongs aren’t treated in the same fashion then we have a problem.

For instance white power is wrong and so is black power. But black power is met with indifference or even acceptance, whereas white power is met with outrage.

It’s great to say two wrongs don’t make a right. But it’s evil when you justify or are indifferent to one wrong and outraged at the other.

Go search the topic on Kenosha and see. I am not your researcher.

Don't we hear - frequently - that a gun can stop an active shooter? Here we have a group of people running after an active shooter, and now folks are saying that all subsequent shots - by the active shooter - were self defense. Can't have it both ways...

The videos do not capture everything. You need eye whitnesses testimony in support of and to fill in the gaps.

Clearly the rules change when some people would rather view the shooter as a patriot.

Or it could be that a business was soliciting protection since cops arent protecting businesses.

Honestly...so far I havent seen anything that leads me to believe this kid shouldn't have been shooting.

Ok....so does that give you rights to assume this kid is in the wrong and "disturbed"?

Yes. And he supported first responders and his life was in danger so he shot. None of this is bad so far. I am interested in hearing the actual facts not out so far.

What have you seen that suggested the kid should have begun shooting in the first place?

Self defense? He had already committed murder, left the scene, and “evaded” the police before committing the second murder and assault. At this point, the only unusual news to come out of this will be the pursuit of civil suits against the police by the family of the second murder victim and the wounded man.

That is your opinion but the video evidence points to self defense, everything else in this case is irrelevant.
