He said that it is not necessary to beat one’s wife frequently, but that a man – as the leader of the house – must sometimes exercise his authority and discipline his wife “out of love” so that “life can move on.” Al-Ansari said that the beating should be light and painless, and that it should make the wife feel her husband’s masculinity and strength, as well as her own femininity. Al-Ansari then demonstrated how to beat one’s wife on Nayef – a little boy who might be his son – by slapping him on the shoulders, grabbing him and shaking him, and saying loudly: “I told you not to leave the house! How many times do I have to tell you?” Al-Ansari said that punching your wife or striking her in the face is prohibited and explained that it is in some women’s nature to like domineering, authoritative, violent, and powerful husbands. I posted this very article in an Australian forum and the following is a response I received from someone who refuses to criticize or support islam, who wont criticize or support mohammed, but because he knows a few muslims, supports them and calls me "islamaphobic"....thought you'd get a laugh out of this......hes obviously full of sh1t.......the forum is called "Political Animal" "Mosques, like Churches reflect what the congregation wants to hear, as well as what the Imam/Priest wants to preach. Mosques are actually more democratically controlled, unlike most Churches. There is no hierarchy in Islam - were you aware of that? Churches OTOH rely upon direction "from above" and have bishops/arch-bishops/Cardninals/etc. dictating theology and doctrine. Islam is much more individualistic as well, compared to Christianity. Oh, and invariably as one Muslim put it to me, the Imam is the most unworldly and more ignorant person in the congregation, compared to the majority of it's members. Why? 'cause the Imam doesn't need to "live in the real world," he just needs to learn the Q'ran. You, like most Islamophobes, like to seize upon the worst aspects of Islam, rather than actually talking to ordinary, everyday, Muslims. You ignore the similarities between the Christianity and Islam, in favour of just slamming Islam. Christianity has learnt to live with modern soceity - yet you can still hear "fire and brimstone" preachers. Same in Islam. Just like the Christian preachers, the Muslim ones largely get ignored by most of their congregations. Funny that, hey? Then you have a problem. You like to paint all Muslims as devout, as members of Daesh or the Taliban or other extremist groups, that they pray five times a day and attend Mosque daily. Yes, a tiny minority do but only approximately 40-45% of Muslims attend Mosque each week. Rather different to the Borg-like Muslims that you portray them as... "

Don't like his opinion --- call them a racist/sexist/bigot/xxxxphone/etc Sorry, no body cares about the Progressive REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE playbook anymore. The things coming out of the Muslim community around the world are so insanely horrible when compared to the same things of other groups today. And of course I am sure you will dig up some random attack on some random person and try to have the media spin it. But it has been shown over and over how many people die at the hands of an ideology, that ideology is called Islam by the people who practice it. The "good" Muslims need to be doing more, you may like them, but them and you are INSANELY horrible bigots against conservatives. Most discussion polls, even the newest one on Vox, talks about how Progresives are by far the more bigoted group. By simply calling him an Islamophobe and heading on with random quotes to try back up why a few "good" Muslims you know, cancel out what this person who has a HUGE audience actually says about his religion. The Progressive idea of changing history, then calling anyone who disagrees with you a racist is over. Tactic is laughed at by anyone who is not a Progresive and it is frustrating the hell out of you guys that it doesn't work.

What I want to add is that beating your wife is a pretty common thing throughout the world. There is a beating monthly in rural areas in eastern Europe, a nice example. I dont support wife beating or Islam, but I suspect there are other cultural reasons besides religion. Wanna bet that the beatings won't stop if Islam is not practiced in that region? Your post reminded me of a video in which it is demonstrated the proper Christian way to dissolve a dead guy in acid. Both, examples of everyday chemistry.

Tell them what Islam says to do to the wife if she won't put out and have sex with her husband. (and keep in mind this includes child brides and women who never said 'I do' during the ceremony)
I have zero respect for a culture that controls people with the threat of physical pain. (Or worse) Just think. in 1000 years, they may have caught up to the cave man. Having said that, my wife does like being spanked!!!
Interesting question but I have my doubts about your answer. We are talking Islam here - where following the rules - which includes proper discipline of ones wife - is a mark of pride and respect ... something adherents want others to know about
