LAPD officer allegedly caught fondling corpse

Wow.

The officers determined the woman was dead, and while one officer went to get something from the patrol car, the accused officer turned off his body-worn camera and allegedly fondled the deceased woman's breasts, LAPD officials told the LA Times.

Though the camera was turned off before the incident, it was captured by the two-minute buffer on the device, the newspaper reported.

This is SICK.

This guy should be fired (and never allowed to serve in Law Enforcement, again, at any level).

I know that some people seem to have this attitude like:

"Cops can do no wrong".

(Sometimes, even in the aftermath of cold-blooded murder).

BUT, Can anyone (regardless of Political persuasion) possibly defend this?

Especially, after the cop intentionally turned off his Body cam? Wow. :smh:

Hopefully, the corpse's family SUES the LAPD.

I think he has been fired and will likely and should be prosecuted for defamation of a corpse. Stop with the "SEE WHAT COPS ARE LIKE all cop lovers". WHO is defending it?

Cops are thugs. Thugs become cops so that they can engage in criminal behavior and get away with it because the cop lovers will always make excuses for them. And, if they do get into trouble, they will get a paid vacation and their legal fees paid and the chief thug cop will prevent their history from becoming public knowledge. Todays cops are not like Sgt. Joe Friday from the old Dragnet tv show. They are vicious psychos.

It is good to see one of them (FINALLY) being called to answer for their Unlawful Behavior.

 

I'll take Cops over Criminals any day of the week, but I agree that just like anything, there are some bad apples in the bunch. Since you Hate! cops so much, I suggest if you or your family are ever the victim of a horrible crime, don't call 911, just take care of it yourself.

 

Democrats attacks on law enforcement is just another attack on America and their quest to destroy America and fundamentally transform it into a global socialist police state run by oligarchs out of Europe.

Cop hate seems to run deep with Democrats.

If there were no cops, Democrats would be out of control. Not all Democrats are criminals but most criminals are Democrats. This is why Democrats fight so hard for felons to vote.

I liked your post but let me add that the LAPD in the 70's was much worse than it is now. I had a front row seat as the stepson of an LAPD cop. The things I witnessed were almost unbelievable. I once watched my stepfather beat a suspect unconscious in front of four or five other cops. His crime was being drunk in public. Another time my stepfather, who was a raging alcoholic, plowed over a FotoMat (remember those) in his 1975 K-5 Blazer with me in the back seat. Not only was he not arrested for DUI, one of the responding cops drove us home.

I have taught my children that the police are not your friends and are to be avoided at all costs.

 

The only reason I would ever call a cop is because I was in a car accident or to report a death. Other things are not worth the trouble.

 

The cops are the criminals; they just know how to use the system for their criminal activities.

All the Democrats hate cops but want us to turn over our guns and rely on the cops they hate for protection.

 

I try to imagine a United States without any law enforcement and how long it would be before Murderers, Pedophiles and Rapists would run rampant in the Streets, kind of like a real life Purge. I don't think a lot of common citizens would be as effective in combating crime as our country's Police force. Being a cop is a Thankless job in a lot of cities, seems like they should just take a year off and let the Criminals kill each other, but too many innocent people would get caught up in the murder.

Cops have always been thugs. In modern society they are thugs for the establishment and they do housekeeping chores , like accident and criminal investigations. Just because they catch other real criminals once in a while does not make them really good guys. They are psychos.

 

Interacting with Cops is like Russian Roulette, where there are 5 Bullets and Only One Empty Chamber.

Sure, there is always a chance that you may get lucky and get a Good Decent Cop.

BUT, the other 5 times (out of 6) you are Lucky just to escape with your life (and not end up raped or murdered).

That said, I am a GREAT Fan of "Good Cops".
