Should they house them in empty hotels? The shelter is supposed to reopen shortly. Does Las Vegas need to build permanent housing for the homeless:

Not a bad idea. If I were homeless, I would not go to a crowded shelter.

Given the problems of no access to hygiene I wonder if letting them live in the empty hotels for the duration might be prudent:

    Sounds good!

Hookers make money too, and deserve to get their pay.

Ask Trump, he has paid hookers while be discomfited by having his wife having childbirth of his child! He had plenty of money for hookers by not paying workers who built the casinos.

Yours is not a particularily virulent post, just the one I chose to answer to:
When we put someone in the White House who is so mean spirited, morally bankrupt, and indecent there is a real repercussion on the population as a whole. I am shocked to see so many people acting so indecently during a time of crisis. I have never seen the country so divided and mean. It is truly sad. I guess I will have to concede one point to the conservatives: character DOES matter.
I can't think of a less christian and decent thing to say then ship the homeless back to LA during an epidemic. Shame on you

Lack of physical buildings generally isn't the cause of homelessness (or certainly not the hardest to resolve). The key issues are the shortage of long term social support and medical care to help the people who have fallen to the bottom (or preferably, catch those who are falling). The problem is that there is a lack of public (and thus political) desire to invest in what is commonly (and wrongly) perceived as lost causes.
