https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id...ams-called-colin-kaepernick-qb-nov-16-workout No teams seem interested in Kaep. Makes sense- a shaky QB (who's defense got him to a Super Bowl) with very little talent left, has been passed by many (if not all) teams. Personally I think he's worth being on a practice squad just in case- but given his personal issues, it's unlikely he'll be signed. However, ya never know. Miami could use someone with any talent. It's clear that Kaep's issues are not what's keeping him from getting a job. It's his bad workouts, and his lack of talent. He used to have some talent but that clearly faded.
Two separate issues. Kaepernick didn't impress anyone at his workouts. He's also been off the field for 3 years so that's a MAJOR issue. His kneeling is another problem. Teams make big changes in hopes to GAIN fan support. Signing him would likely do the opposite.
I'm wondering if that receiver is a much less of a risk to a fan base than Kaep. Remember, teams want a player that will increase a fan base, not decrease it.
