I have bought 6 bottles, as I said.
2 each of 3 different sorts.
Here I copy a little bit of info about each of those 3 sorts, from their labels:

    - mis en bouteille par Louis Vincent à 71 570 Romaneche-Thorins, France
    - mis en bouteiile par S. F. V. à 30 942 Nimes, France
    - mis en bouteille par Pisse-Dru à 69 800, France

Have we got anyone here who ever has also enjoyed the new Beaujolais?

Doesn't look like we have a lot of fans, here. I have tried it, but am not fond of the celeriac flavor, I taste in the Gamay grape (despite a fruity nose). Coincidentally, though, I just opened a bottle of a different type of wine that also has a vegetable element intermixed, but which is much more enjoyable.

As part of a new effort to become somewhat familiar with Portuguese wines, I picked out a 2017 red blend, from the Alentejano region, called EA, from Fundacao Eugenio De Almeida, at Adega Cartuxa, which last word also appears on the label. It had not been pricey-- I'd guess 8 or 9 dollars. It is an exceptional case, any time I spend more than $12, and an advantage of the Portuguese wines, because they are lesser known, is that they are typically more reasonably priced; that is, you get a better quality wine than you might expect, for the price, from a country whose wines are better-promoted, and more renowned. And there are many nice surprises to find, here, it seems.

This bottle is a case in point. The blend is 40% Aragonez, 25% Alicante Bouschet, 20% Trincadeira, 10% Syrah, and 5% Castelao. It is dark, like blood, but with a lovely purple hue. It is dry, but with very smooth, leathery tannins. The fruit is black plum, and berries, and has a medium body. It readily pairs with food, but is also good to drink on its own.

I always find it interesting when a wine's flavors transmute, depending on its temperature. The vegetable undertone (green tomato?) is more pronounced when warmer, and recedes beneath a jammy richness, when further chilled.

I have bought some Beaujolais Nouveau on Saturday.
Now I will go back for more tomorrow - on Tuesday.
And we had a nice little Beaujolais Nouveau Party on Sunday.

Wine for me is wine and wine is a noble drink.
I would never refer to wine by the crude word of "alcohol".

Wine is wine BECAUSE it has alcohol in it, else it would be grape juice.

Wine contains some alcohol, but wine IS NOT alcohol.
Maybe some understand what I mean.
If not then I cannot help it.

I think you're being pedantic about it. Someone who doesn't drink alcohol doesn't drink wine either. Ask a muslim or an ex alcoholic

And I think that you do not see my point and do not understand irony.
    Which is a pity.
And it is also a pity that it seems impossible to have a nice talk about this Beaujolais Nouveau.

    I did not "edit" anything.
    I only shortened it.
And I do not want to talk with you about anything any more.

What a pity that a pleasant topic like wine ends in such a way.

Today I will go to France again for lunch.
Then I will buy some more Beaujolais Nouveau.
For me and as a present for friends.

My favorite drink only just recently has been Egg Nog made with Gosling's Black Seal Bermuda Black Rum . The Rum is 151 proof. The Egg Nog is unique.

    Today it was like this:
Beaujolais Nouveau was all sold out!
I asked whether they might get a new supply.
They were not sure. Maybe, maybe not.
Then I discovered a few bottles of Beaujolais Nouveau in a half-forgotten corner somewhere.
    Beaujolais Nouveau Rosé.
I bought all 6 bottles of them, to be on the safe side.

There is nothing to be proud of if one hates wine.
    It is no achievement.
