You got a state at least CLAIMING to be leadership for a nation. But when you look at it they can't lead themselves. Their costs to citizens of the other 49 states with their regulations and mandates are staggering. If you buy a NEW car in Alabama it has to pass tech in California. ONE state is allowed to set the standards for all the other states. This central government dictation by tyrants is not left with just that problem.

They show NO abiliity for planning and funding. Look at CalPers their "retirement" fund. Poor planning and lack of funding led to an average 67% CUT in their benefits. Those labor union democrats are NOT going to support the DNC. And if California democrats think Pres. Trump and the American people are going to bail out a liberal strong hold think again. We would be FAR better off letting you fail.

Then you got another issue, they crap in the streets. 1,400 piles of poop in 100 blocks accrding to Yahoo news. The city had to hire CREWS to do nothing but clean crap off the sidewalks. One should NEVER look to the state of California for a solution because what you ARE seeing is the result of the problem.

    @Honky Kong
Yes. What California does is in violation of the Constitution interstate commerce clause.
We also had to get Arkansas to give their chickens some breathing space if they wanted to sell them here.
    Pesticide laws, etc.

    Amazingly, the nation follows California.

In :flagcanada: it is quite different.

Currently Alberta is boycotting wines from British Columbia.
Truly, I don't make this stuff up.
Evidence for the line in the song, "It's not a real country anyway".

We should extend Trumps wall around Mexifornia also.

There is no hope for them, they are lost.

I don't know if we could even give it back to Mexico at this point.

    Its utter filth.

If things were truly fair and honest car companies would charge more for Cali cars instead of punishing the rest of America.

When I lived there we experienced a drought so they said that everyone should conserve their water.

We did and then they said they weren't making enough off of water to fund the government so they jacked up their rates.

That's how stupid they are out there.

    LMAO at the phoniness.

Alabama is 4th most federally dependent state

    https://www.al.com/news/index.ssf/2017/03/alabama_is_4th_most_federally.html

If we are in debt, it is because we have to pay for you red state moochers, especially Alabama. How about we just cast them off so they can get off their collective lazy @$$ and actually contribute their fair share for the rest of us. Good riddance.

It gets worse and I have converted some conservationist into,
use as much power and water as you can afford!

Shocked, I explained that "they" ask me to conserve electricity or water
and when I do, they add more users to the same sources.
Then they ask me to conserve again and again while new development permits are
benevolently granted here and there like deja vu all over again, repeatedly.
Epiphany: Conservation is a sucker's bet!
Use as much electricity and water as you can afford.
If we can really stress the system, "they" will have to do proper growth planning,
considering water, electricity, roads, schools, etc.
Remember, Can "they" be trusted? They have played me a fool conserving for them.

Cars are built at the factory to pass tech in ALL 50 STATES. This adds to the cost as a car sold in Alabama is required to be able to pass California emissions.

Never a dull moment since The Donald took over the hot seat . . . there or here?

"Donald Trump has tea with 'tremendous' Queen"

His fave adjective du jour?? Poor ol' Brenda probably didn't know what to make of him? (I'm not sure I do either!) She probably asked him 'Have you come far, er . . . sorry, what did you say your name is?' :roflol: With all this, and the Salisbury Incident, I haven't laughed so much since the cat died!

The solution is greater local autonomy. Change to a confederation, pass amendments to substantially decrease Federal power, or failing that allow them to secede.

One size fits all is tyranny.
