Given our knowledge of Trump and his previous actions I don't see how a really thorough investigation of just the 2016 election alone could fail to come up with quite a few impeachable offenses, as well as serious felonies and maybe even some capital crimes. First and foremost Trump is a crook. It is the way he does business, as his father taught. He has gotten away with a long list of wrongdoings because of who he knows, a formidable reputation as litigious, and a certain talent at the "art'" of bullying and knowing where the bodies are buried. He thought the same methodology might work in politics, especially when he was backed by our most powerful international foe. He forgot that nations and their real leaders regard his type as "useful idiots" and he is finding out just how much of an idiot he may have been.
