"Leftist" asks this guy when was America great and....

This guy here was asked by a leftist when was America great? The response he gave to this is seen below. Courtesy of Breitbart.



Truly a well-spoken individual with a mind of his own. I especially liked the part where he said this country was founded on the principles of freeing us from tyranny, regardless of how those principles only applied to white males and everyone else was just SOL for almost all of the decades following, especially for people who looked like him. I also like how he said "okay there were some slaves but" as if slavery was just a minor thing, almost as though the whole thing should be downplayed.

But yes, what an enlightened person he is.

Indeed. As he put it, America was always great since its founding.

Minus the slavery, genocide and forced removal, subsequent Indian Wars, human subjugation, racial segregation, Japanese internment, Chinese exclusion, awful treatment of minorities, prevalent Klan influence, Prohibition, multiple race riots, suffrage issues and many other things, of course.

 

America has always been great. In the 1950's every American was doing well. Europe wasn't a foe, China wasn't a threat. US and Rusdia were engaged in scientific break throughs. That all changed in the 1960's when politicians and activists started dividing Americans by race. That's why Trump had to take us back to a time before then. #MA1950sA

 

Black Americans today do better then almost anywhere in the world and especially anywhere in Africa. if I were black my heart would bleed red white and blue and I would put American flags all over my house and vehicles.

 

Would you actually bother to crack open a history book too?

If his answer is that America always has been and still is great (which is a perfectly reasonable position), how does that explain the slogan "Make America Great Again"?

 

Were you alive then?

 

Does that compliment the world's tiniest grasp of reality you've got going for you, too?

 

Sure, would you actually bother not to live in that history book?

 

Would you rather be in America -the greatest country on the face of the Earth- or Africa, a continent packed full of shithole countries?

 

I live in reality and reality, or rather history, has shown that America's greatness only existed for whites for a large portion of the time.

 

At least with the African continent, when people call them "shitholes" then that's exactly what they look like. Folks in America, on the other hand, claim we're the best and we've always been great and believe all men are created equal, yet history has proven that wrong on numerous occasions.

 

Excellent way for you to dodge the fact that there is not a single country in your ancestral Homeland that will give you a better quality of life than what you are experiencing right now.

No thank you, I think they've exceeded their entitlement and privilege quotas for a lifetime long ago.

 

That's not true, nor has it ever been true. The fact, and not opinion, is that before the genius of the Constitutional Republic, for more than ten thousand years of human history, "greatness" existed only for a tiny % of elites of all races and genders in all countries. Everyone else of all colors and both genders, was effectively oppressed. My white ancestors in the U.S. didn't get to vote until they served in wars or after the Civil War. My white ancestors from Ireland were treated like garbage, my white ancestors from England were chattel slaves or victims of religious persecution that ejected them from their home countries.

Enter the Constitutional Republic in 1789, only a gnat's toenail of human historical time ago, and a completely untried experiment on that scale. Starting with a complete unknown, rights have been extended to all in a very short relative historical time, and that model of government by the people has taken hold and won out against grim alternatives all over the world.

You can rejoice in that, as I, a descendant of chattel slaves, conscription/impressment slaves, victims of religious and all manner of persecution rejoice, or you can whine like the typical black grievance industry baby and waste your life living in the past instead of the present where it actually occurs.

 

If you can't go to Africa and build a better life for yourself than you enjoy today then what are you even complaining about?

This constant whining that we see from the African American Community is a very anti masculine submissive and just all-around unattractive Behavior.

 

Cute. My black ancestors didn't get to vote freely until half a century ago and the Klan was always around to keep the blacks in line long before that just by showing them a noose, and before the Klan it was just typical slaveholders. Good thing the Constitution finally recognized blacks as people, almost a whole century after it was officially signed. Thanks white folks
