(The title was shortened to fit in Thread Title Box).

    Full Title:

We asked nine legal experts about Trump's latest lawsuit challenging election results in Pennsylvania. Their verdict: Dead on arrival.

Legal experts said the case has little chance of succeeding, for a variety of reasons: Courts are wary of invalidating legally cast ballots. The issues raised, even if true, don't represent a constitutional question. And mail voting, used in many states, is both common and constitutional.
The suit has "lots of complaints about different things, and it’s not easy to see how they all fit together," said Kermit Roosevelt, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania Law School who focuses on constitutional law.
"This has a very 'throw it all at the wall and see what sticks' feel," he said."

It claims Trump campaign observers were blocked from the access needed to detect and challenge inadequate verification of voters' identities and other alleged improprieties.
But as with other lawsuits filed by the Trump campaign and its allies, the federal complaint offered little evidence to back its claims.

Basically, this is a frivolous lawsuit with (essentially) ZERO Chance of success.

That said, Trump is certainly within his rights to set money on fire going down a fanastical rabbit hole.

Even though, everyone already knows that he will LOSE.

Do you agree with the legal assessment laid out in the OP Link?

I certainly do. These cases are frivolous lawsuits.

That's what a court is there to determine, what is the problem again?

Wasting time from a smooth transition. This election isn’t even a close election. It’s a damn blowout. Seriously it’s embarrassing how bad Trump lost. He should hang his head in shame.

How is a smooth transition being interruped?

Everything is right on track. 233000 votes over five battleground states for the election is not a blowout. It can't get much closer.

Even if they win their primary complaint of receiving mail in ballots up to 3 days after the election, we are only talking about a few hundred ballots that a) haven't been counted yet and b) won't change the outcome in the state. The rest of the nonsense about the observers being 10 feet away as opposed to 6 will never be remedied by throwing away votes. This is all nonsense.

Yes that’s a blow out! This was such a decisive victory for Biden. A mandate if you must. A repudiation of the man currently in office.

Frivolous lawsuits and Trump’s refusal to cooperate with the incoming government.

I expected the petulant little punk act.

Winning states unheard of for Democrats in 28 years. By 2028 Texas will be full on blue.

It’s three times as much as Trump got. And he lost the popular vote by a wider margin too.

They are refusing to allow the transition teams to even begin, the president elect is considering suing to start the process.

I thought 80,000 votes over three states was a “landslide” when trump won — now over 250,000 votes is met with a shrug. Strange

When is the president required by law to begin the transition?

Hell, the electors don't even vote for the president for another month, he is not the president elect yet.

You folks really need to learn how our government operates.

Sure it can. 2016, the election which Trump claimed to be a landslide, even though he won fewer electoral votes than Biden in 2020, and also lost populate votes in that one.

So yeah, 2020 is a bigger landslide than in 2016, which is probably one of the reasons why Trump's gone mental because he can no longer just "imagine losing to this guy" but live with that fact.

He isn't required to have them yet.

The law has a date for that.

Not getting them early is not slowing anything down.

Its not about electoral votes it's about how tight the race was to get them.

Joe have a problem following the law?why didn't he change the law when he was in the senate?

This seriously sounds like a child's reaction.

"Well he got his already" "it's not fair"

The only people being cheated are the American people by not having our new president up to speed on day one. Can you give me one good reason to delay it??
